life, and debating experience looks great on your university application!

B Culture Club
What are you interested in? At Culture Club meetings, we discuss everything from films to
computer games and popular music. We also go on trips to the cinema, theatre and
museums and have interesting guest speakers visit the school to talk to us. We learn about
cultures around the world, try their food and celebrate their festivals. Come and join us and
broaden your mind!

C Art Club
Calling all art enthusiasts! Whether you like ancient Greek sculpture, Monet, Picasso or
modern art, you're sure to enjoy Art Club. We meet twice a week to draw, paint and
experiment with different materials together. Once a year, we hold a Recycled Art
Exhibition for the whole school to come and visit. Art Club is a great place to develop your
artistic skills and learn new ones. Keep an eye out for special events, too!

D Volunteer Work and Community Service

Find a way to give back to the town you live in. Whatever your interests, our team can find a
volunteer position that suits you! From working at an animal shelter to keeping senior
citizens company, you can make a difference while doing the things you enjoy. Love being
outdoors but can't commit to regular volunteer work? Join one of our weekend litter picks
around town.

E Student Newspaper
Do you want a career in journalism? Perhaps you enjoy writing, reading or taking pictures in
your free time? Turn your hobby into something the whole school can appreciate and join
the School Times team! We write, edit and publish the school newspaper once a month. So
bring your talent and imagination and be ahead of the pack by getting some valuable
experience for your future!
