3rd PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

Materials : Transformation (Translation, Reflection, Rotation, Dilatation)
Model Cooperation : In pairs (2 person)

1. Make a batik pattern that contains various 2D-shapes (square, triangle, parallelogram,
circle, etc)
2. Batik pattern that you make MUST contain one or more geometric transformations
(translation, reflection, rotatiom, or dilatation)
For example :

Shapes inside on batik pattern : Transfomation inside on batik

1) Rhombus (blue) pattern :
2) Triangle (green) 1) Reflection with 𝑥-axis (red)
and reflection with 𝑦-axis
(yellow)
2) Dilatation (orange)

3. You can given additional motifs such as leaf motifs, flowers, animals, etc.
4. Target for today's work (Oct 20, 2022) is a semi-finished design of batik pattern
(no coloring) in HVS paper and collected at Mrs. Denik's desk. (Those who don't
collect today will not be given the opportunity to continue project assignments).
