 This is to inform you that test certificates for protective relays and measuring and
metering Instruments should be submitted from EETC Central Protection Sector.

(G-2):

 in (G-2) for Metering instruments and Protection System you didn’t Fill-in the Data for
(Name of Manufacturer, Place of Manufacturer, Place of Testing, Standard), please Fill-in the
Guarantee Schedules (G-2) and send it for evaluation .

(G-7a): Protective Relays

 Incoming Feeders:

1- Please confirm to provide the serial interface to be (RS232) instead of (RS485) as

per EETC Guarantee Schedules (G-7a) ,item (1.1.8).

2- Please confirm to provide the number of (DO) to be (16) instead of (10) as per
EETC Guarantee Schedules (G-7a) ,item (1.1.11).

3- Please confirm that Original Software and firmware for the relay should be
provided in all relays.

 Outgoing Feeders:

1- This is to inform you that the relay type (REF 611) is not accepted as it doesn’t
complete the field test period according to the (table-item 5) as per EETC specs,
Section (3), item (3.7.1), Page (6/8).

2- Please confirm to provide the serial interface to be (RS232) instead of (RS485) as

per EETC Guarantee Schedules (G-7a), item (2.1.10).

3- Please confirm to provide the number of (DI) to be (16) instead of (4) as per
EETC Guarantee Schedules (G-7a), item (2.1.12).

4- Please confirm to provide the number of (DO) to be (16) instead of (6) as per
EETC Guarantee Schedules (G-7a), item (2.1.13).

5- Please confirm to provide the number of programmable LEDs to be (14) instead

of (11) as per EETC Guarantee Schedules (G-7a), item (2.1.16).

6- Please confirm that Original Software and firmware for the relay should be
provided in all relays.

 Bus-Ties:

1- Please confirm that Original Software and firmware for the relay should be
provided in all relays.

 Load Shedding:

1- Please fill-in the Place of Manufacturer in (G-7a).

3- Please confirm that Original Software and firmware for the relay should be
provided in all relays.

 Measuring and Metering Devices:

 Please submit the EETC Central Protection Sector- ROD EL-FARAG- test certificates
for the measuring and metering instruments (MICROSTAR-bluestar, type-A2000) for
evaluation or it will be omitted from your offer.
