• PROJECTING SLAB - Core: PANEL -aerated concrete panel

• Thermal performance: Projecting slab seperates athmospheric environment and indoor environment so
indoor space can get affected by temperature changes on the outside.

• Sound performance: Istanbul is a crowded city and has high noise pollution. Projecting slab seperates the
indoor from that noises so specially airborne sound performance is important. Impact sound performance is
also important because restaurant will be crowded.

• Water performance: Projecting slab gets exposed to athmospheric conditions such as rain and wind that can
affect the function of the floor.

Natural stone granite: Top finish – fire resistant

Mortar : To apply granite – fire resistant - waterproof

Screed: To protect impact sound insulation – levelling – fire resistant - waterproof

Rubber mat : Impact sound insulation

Polyethylene membrane : Vapour barrier

Reinforced aerated concrete panel : Core – Thermal storage

Wood battens : To hold glasswool (creates thermal bridges but enaugh for Istanbul and function)

Glasswool : Thermal insulation – Airborne sound insulation

Plywood : To hold waterproofing and bottom finish

Hp polyethylene felt : Waterproofing

Corten steel sheet : Bottom finish – Fire resistant – water resistant
