Objectives:
The course of Gender Inclusive Development (GID) will help students engage in interdisciplinary
approaches to knowledge that allows for both creative synthesis of these various approaches and
productive debates within the discipline. They will also be able to conduct an analysis of gender in
relationship to power that recognizes gender and relevant aspects. This course also allows students to
learn about gender and its role in development. Participants will learn and practice tools and strategies to
model positive behaviors, confront gender stereotypes, prevent gender-based discrimination, promote
gender inclusiveness, respect, and self-awareness, maintain open minds in the classroom.

Grading Assessment
10% class participation/ activities discussions and debate exercises during class
10% Assignment – Research project
30% Mid-term examination
50% Final-term examination
