I. NATURE OF BUSINESS
BUSINESS NAME: Wake Up Bean
BUSINESS ADDRESS: Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan City
TAG LINE: “Rise and Grind”

Business Introduction

Coffee is one of the world’s most popular beverages and some claim it as the most widely
consumed liquid in the world aside from water. For many people, coffee is the first beverage
consumed in the morning and can be relied upon for energy to help them get through the day. Coffee's
popularity as a beverage is probably due to both the caffeine it contains and its sensory appeal. Coffee
lovers come to associate the energizing lift of the caffeine with the richness and aroma of the beverage
that it delivers. But coffee is more than just a drink. It is woven into our lives as a memory, an
expectation, and a lifetime of consoling moments of pleasure. It also helps people to set their mood for
the day and ready to be productive. When we think of anything to give us energy, we think of coffee.
Some people even drink coffee to function and get their day started. If you drink the right amount of
coffee, your body can also benefit from a ton of health advantages. This is precisely why we plan on
opening a coffee shop in this town where people love each other as much as they love their coffee. We
wish to promote productivity and revitalize individuals with our nutritious coffee in a setting that is
pleasant to the neighborhood.

MISSION
To awaken the productive spirit of our customers and make their day rewarding.

VISION
We strive to create a welcoming space for everyone with our aromatic coffee and nutritious pastries to
start their day better.

people, professionals, and college students.

III. INDUSTRY ANALYSIS

A. FUTURE OUTLOOK AND TRENDS

Coffee is one of the widely consumed beverages around the world and people of all ages are

starting to enjoy going to coffee chains to enjoy their beverage. Over the last few years, consumers

have become more aware of the manufacturing of the products they buy and where their purchases are

coming from. This is particularly relevant to the supply chains for food and beverage items like coffee.

To confirm the legitimacy of their coffee purchases, customers seek out certified coffee goods. During

the forecast period, it is anticipated that the global coffee market will grow at a CAGR of 4.6 percent

3
NUEVA ECIJA UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
College of Management and Business Technology

(2022-2027). The demand for certified coffee products is rising, consumers are accepting single-serve

coffee brew systems, and the top competitors in the coffee market are always innovating. These are

just a few of the factors that are driving the coffee business. Due to its superior flavor and quality,

some customers in developed economies are anticipated to move from instant coffee to premium

coffee. Instant coffee was formerly seen as a high-end commodity, but as its younger client base has

started to dwindle, the market's dynamics are shifting. With that, the organization management has

provided a supporting plan to identify issues and operational difficulties and explore ways and means

to undertake more effective actions to improve the service for possible future challenges. By 2023 the

café is projected to increase sales and profit by 10% due to the increase of business awareness and

popularity of coffee to our valuable target customers. Moving to 2024, we are hoping to build more

retail shop to widen our business and make more profit that will increase by 20% until 2025. By the

end of 2017 we hope that Wake Up Bean café will expand and be known worldwide as a top coffee

shop that serves quality products and excellent services.

B. PROMOTION AND DISTRIBUTION

DISTRIBUTION
The Wake Up Bean is a direct channel of distribution where products are served directly to the

customers involving face-to-face distribution at all ages. Furthermore, we will be using the internet

to increase business awareness through posting and sharing of what products we have. Online

delivery is also available for those buyers who want to buy our products but are far away from their

location. We will make sure that our product is well packaged and handled with care until it reaches

your destination.

PROMOTION
The Wake Up Bean will primarily distribute fliers and use word of mouth marketing to invite
the public. We will be also using "Online Advertisement " to promote our services using social media
platforms, specifically Facebook, Instagram and TikTok since people nowadays are more engaged in it
than traditional ones. With our social media accounts, Wake Up Bean will post eye- capturing posters
and photos to inform future guests about our services.

As part of our marketing strategy, we will be using promotional discounts and vouchers. "Buy
3 different products, get up to 5% discount" every 7:00 pm onwards during Sundays. Another promo to
be offered by the business is the vouchers. Vouchers could only be used by customers who have been
part of the business for at least 3 months. The vouchers included Wake Up Bean loyalty cards and they

VII. ORGANIZATIONAL PLAN

A. FORM OF OWNERSHIP

Wake Up Bean is a small business formed and run by a single person only. The company started
operating the business as a sole proprietorship which later expanded and became a corporation which
is operated by shareholders. Sole proprietorship is the best choice of business structure for a small
business that is just getting started because it will be simpler to operate the business as the owner of
the enterprise essentially has only himself to contend with.

VIII. ASSESSMENT OF RISK

A. SWOT ANALYSIS
The executives and stockholders of The Wake up Bean are from various backgrounds. Their
diverse backgrounds enhance the capabilities of the business. Founders are aware of how crucial
production system, customer service, and business skills are to the firm ’s success. Wake Up Bean will
have an advantage over their rivals in the coffee market industry because they will be providing
excellent, cost-effective, and nutritious coffee-based products. Even though Wake Up Bean has
hundreds of competitors who are superior and have a substantial advantage, the company will have the
courage to do everything in its strength to serve its customers. They strive to achieve customer
satisfaction.

Strengths Weaknesses

 Affordable pricing  Lack of Experience

 Welcoming atmosphere  Short period of time preparation

 Improve customer experience  Insufficient Funds

 We use nutritious ingredients

 An innovative coffee idea

Opportunities Threats

 Ability to expand  Financial issues

 Nourishing goods  Experienced competitors

 Wide target market within the area

STRENGTHS

Wake Up Bean use properly processed, fresh, and nutrient-rich materials to make their products. The
focus of their drinks is to provide healthy and will benefit your body. They take great care when
properly preparing and blending drinks, then serving them with a smile. The operation of this shop is
well planned to offer reliable and high-quality service. They ensure that they offer excellent value by
providing a distinctive and engaging menu.

WEAKNESSES

The start-up of the company, which will determine the future of the company, is one of several flaws
of Wake up Bean. Due to the most popular cafes, being a new business will put us at a disadvantage in
comparison to known competitors. Being a tiny firm, we don't have the resources or the experience to
prepare in a short amount of time.

OPPORTUNITIES

To improve opportunities for total revenue development, it can diversify its business operations even
further. Developing products based on consumer preferences in a particular target market is a good
option. Investing all its resources and income generators in one industry could be harmful if that
impacts on the business a decline. Wake Up Bean can diversify its sources of income by doing things
like offering goods that are heathy and fresh produce.

THREATS

There can be a financial issue since Wake Up Bean is a start - up company. There are several coffee
establishments that offer goods for affordable prices. This can impact the future’s strength of Wake Up
Bean which offers increased rates. Competitiveness with corporate cafes like Caffé La Tea and Star
Frappe can also be harmful to its marketing strategy.
