1. INTRODUCTION:
 DESIGN ENGINEERING
o What is design?
Design is a plan of system, its implementation and utilization for attaining
a goal. It is to change undesired situation into desired situation means to find
solution for undesired/uncomfortable situation.
Design thinking gives students a taste of the rich internal-remunerations

associated with knowledge-creation in curiosity and problem-driven
contexts. Design need to satisfy technical functions, aesthetic functions, cost
function and environment function
o Essential features of Design:

Design solution of a problem starts with planned constructions’ for achieving
goals. Designing means evolving goal oriented process only goals are
known while at the end, both the goals and plans are known and that to with
more clarity. Goal and plans evolve together and they influencing each
other. In designing process some goals are more important than others and
similarly some plans are better than others. Designing does not guarantee
that the design will work.
With a lots of discussion between me and my team members also taking

some guidelines from senior students, faculties. We selected a topic. When
we were selecting a topic, we were consider some important point like
availability of material, do not harmful to environment, etc.

o About project:
NAME : Automatic Handling of Motorcycle Side Stand System
AIM : To avoid such accidents cause due to uplift the
side stand.
APPLICATION : This method reduces the side stand accidents in two
wheelers. ( in all types of two wheeler )
We make a design for our project and also collecting material for our
project to nearby shops preparing for canvas and also make prototype as
well as report to submit our guide sir Prof. V.S.PATEL.
Then we make design for how to make different canvas and also make a
design to how to make automatic side stand on plane sheet.
Then we are select a date to make canvases and reach at a place. Where
we are going to make canvases. At our group member’s house , we are
reached and start to preparing canvases. All the group member first
discuss that what we were going to make. Than our ideas are plotted on
canvases.
We enjoy and learn something new things and do fun with group members.

2. OBSERVATIONS:
(A) A-E-I-O-U SUMMARY:
During making a canvas by our group noted all the activities, important
things such as environment, interactions, objects, our activities with users
in log book. All the A-E-I-O-U related all the things we plotted on the A-E-I-
O-U SUMMARY canvas.

IDEATION CANVAS: In this canvas we tried to elaborate ideas and thoughts
towards our project topic by mainly focusing on activities, what different types of
props and possible solutions will occur. Also the people involved and finally the
location and on the situations for which we will work. on the basis of the study, we

members.while a new product/process is under development based on unique idea
