UNDERGRADUATE & POSTGRADUATE USER MANUAL

ONLINE APTITUDE TEST (OAT)

1. You will receive email from Admission.


- Please use the Username and Password to login apel.aeu.edu.my

2. apel.aeu.edu.my Homepage.
- Key in username and password.

- Click below course overview.

4. My course Homepage before answer Aptitude Test. - Click Aptitude Test.

5. After click Aptitude Test.
-Scroll down and click attempt quiz.

6. After finish answer all question. - Click Finish attempt.

7. After click finish attempt.
- Final check for unanswered questions.
- If all questions have been answered, click “Submit and all finish”. At this point,
you will not be able to return and re-answer the test

8. After click submit all and finish


- Click “Finish review”

9. After Finish Review
- Click “Click Here” to notify Apel Unit that you have completed the Online
Aptitude Test

10. After step (9) this page will display


- Please Insert your full name and ic number

11. For Postgraduate applicants, after you have finished the OAT. Please
reply to this email:

e-Portfolio Submission
Information/Reminder:
1. You are REQUIRED to complete your OAT first before e-Portfolio submission.
2. Your file submission should only be in PDF format.
3. No limitation to upload all related supporting documents.
4. The 3 sections (“Portfolio Form”, “Certificate” and “Work Samples”) below are
compulsory (at least one file submission is required). Others section are optional.

5. Button function.

i. delete button, you can delete your file submission

ii. view button, you can view your file submission

iii. download button, you can download your file submission

6. If you close the page, the file that you have uploaded will be automatically saved
in the system. The next time you login, you may continue to upload your file
submission.

How to upload File.
1. Scroll down and click “Portfolio Submission”.

2. Then, you will view a page to upload all your supporting documents

3. Portfolio form.
a. Please download the “Portfolio and Registration Form APEL.docx” and fill all
the required information.

b. Once the form completed, you need to convert the file to PDF format, as you
need to upload all documents in PDF format.

- To convert your document into PDF format, choose “Save As” then choose
the folder you want to save.

- For “Save as type” please select “PDF” format

4. Then you need to upload “Portfolio and Registration Form APEL.pdf” to “Portfolio
form” Section.
- To upload, Click the button on right table

- This pop-up will appear once you click the button.

- Then, click “Select”, go to folder that you have save the “Portfolio and
Registration Form APEL.pdf” and click “Submit”.

- Your file submission will appear like this.

7. For others section you want to upload, follow step 4.

8. Once you finish your upload, click button. This pop-up will appear.
Once you click “Yes”, you will not be able to edit your file submission.

9. Finish.
