Uni Hockey Learning Objectives Lesson 1-6
Quality of Movement
To be able to perform the following dribbling techniques: left-right (Indian), backhand & forehand spin
and lob.
Understanding Movement
Give examples of when you would use each piece of skill in a game.
Healthy Bodies
Understand and take part in all components of a warm-up: raise heart rate, stretch, increase blood flow
to muscles, mental preparation and skill-based practise.
Lesson 2
Passing
Quality of Movement
To be able to propel the ball using the push, hit and lob pass.
To be able to receive the ball under control.
Understanding Movement
To have an understanding and knowledge of when to use the push pass in a game and to have the basic knowledge of
the rules that affect the lob pass.
Warm Up
Identify the correct leg muscles that are involved in turning and passing.
