John Dalton who discover “ATOMS”
Atomic theory was invented by the ancient Greek
philosophers Leucippus and Democritus, who speculated
that the world essentially consists of myriads of tiny
indivisible particles, which they called atoms, from the
Greek atomon, meaning ``uncuttable.

- HARDNESS
- Helps determine how an element ( especially metals)
might be used
- How resistant solid matter is to external force

- TEXTURE
- A visual and tactile quality of a surface

- FLEXIBILITY
- The quality of bending easily w/o breaking

- MALLEABILITY
- The abilty of a substance to be pounded into thin
sheets
- MELTING POINT
- The temperature that causes solid to melt

- BOILING POINT
- The temperature which causes liquids to boil
