Tourism brings both positive and negative impacts on tourist destinations.

It
happens because Tourism is one of the fastest-growing industries in the
world. Mostly developed nations used to benefit from tourism in the past;
however, developing nations are now-a-days becoming popular destinations
as well. On the other hand, tourism also has a negative impact, mainly due to
contamination air from transport and unclean water. Recently, there is a major concern
regarding pollutions which isis caused by gas emission. Some people argue that increasing the
taxes on flights or accomodations will overcome problems related to tourism affects. I strongly
believe that this is the best way to reduce tourism affects.

There are, however, some disadvantage impacts for the country. This will discourage the
tourism from buying ticket to our country. However, this method is the best way to reducing
tourism affects. There is some reasonns why increasing the taxes will overcome problems
related to tourism affects.

First of all, Let's learn from Bhutan which has a policy of 'low-volume, high-yield tourism'. In this
case, the government deliberately issued complicated regulations in order to protect nature, culture,
and local wisdom in the country. This policy is considered quite successful in managing
tourism, although the number of visits is low, the income generated actually increases,
plus the experience felt by tourists becomes more qualified. From the examples, we can
see how the Bhutanese government prioritize quality, not quantity.

It can be conclude that overtourism can be done with policy of prioritize quality, not quantity.
