Kasuri

a print design project inspired by


Japanese ikkat

The brief underlined a study of textiles around


the globe and to develope a collection of prints
for apparel or soft furnishings/upholstery.

Based on the study of the crafts process,


techniques, technique of tieing and dyeing ,
motifs, market and culture of region the
nishigikoi famously known as koi fish is the
protagonist of my print.
