Team Building by Nature Itinerary

MAIN OBJECTIVE:
EBOGO Team Building by Nature action learning/team building programs is designed to develop
leadership qualities and enhance group effectiveness. Through these specific activities and exercises,
participants will develop communication, cooperation, and problem solving skills within the group
dynamic.

MORNING:

8:00am- Depart Yaoundé. Drive 1 hour to Mefou APE Sanctuary

9:00am – Arrive to Mefou for tour

10:30am – Depart to Ebogo Touristic Center

11:20am- Arrive to Ebogo Touristic Center

11:40am- BRIEFING/INTRODUCTION/ icebreaker activity

Introductions
Avishai and Philippe as facilitators
Introduce others as assistants (Roxy,
Brendan, Chris)
Talk about Goals for the day
1. Increase personal confidence.
2. Increase mutual support within a group.
3. HAVE FUN
Safety Issues
1. General disclaimer about inherent risk

Common Issues
1. “What concerns do you have at this point?"
2. Tell some common concerns
a. Insecurity - can I do it?

Contract
1. Need to agree to work together as a group

12:00pm- Short 10-minute canoe ride

12:20pm- Rest and snack

12:30pm- Team building activity A:

Activity Objective: Teamwork and leadership, Develop communication skills among group,
overcome fears, and work on trusting co-workers to over come obstacles presented.

1:30pm- Team building activity B:

Activity Objective: Unity under stress

2:30pm- Lunch

• Grilled Chicken
• Grilled Fish
• Crudités Salad
• Fried Plantain / French Fries
• Mineral Water / Brasserie drinks only

3:00pm- Team building activity C:

Activity Objective: Better group communication

4:00pm- Team building activity D:

Activity Objective: Goal setting
