ASSESSMENT REPORT– MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF ROUTES1 -

BOUAR
1. Gen. The works on Route N°1 that extends from Bouar-Maigaro with a distance of
11.5 kilometers, these works facilitate transitability for the minusca force and are also used
for commerce in the region, this work during the date was affected by the rainy season,
which caused a delay in the works, as 8 kilometers of the total route were not repaired, for
which an extension of the deadline for the completion of the works is requested.
Assessment is proffered for extending of route for which is as follows:

2. Aim. grass cleaning, leveling, water outlet and formation of the Bouar route.

3. Existing Dimensions
a. Length - 11.5 km.
b. Width - 6m.
4. Quantum of Work. Following works have been identified as shown in
Annexure A: -
a.Cleaning, removal and disposal of organic material.
b. Extraction and hauling of quarry material.
c. Humidification and scarification of the ground.
d. Leveling of the sub-grade.
e. Conformation of pumping, ditches and superelevations.
f. Compaction of the road surface.

5. Execution Plan. Following option is available to improving and Clearing Grass on

all Sides of Runway.

(e) Wheel tractor - 1 (Req to be moved from Peruvian camp)
(f) Crawler tractor - 1 (Req to be moved from Peruvian camp)
(g) Water tank - 1 (Req to be moved from Peruvian camp)
(h) Utility vehicle - 1 (Req to be moved from Peruvian camp)
c. Engineer Stores Required
(a) Stone ½” - 10 Cft.

d. Fuel Required. (Staff check of diesel is attached at Annexure B).

e. Time required. Approximately 45 working days (depending on weather
conditions, material supply and security availability). Star time: 16 August
2023 and final time: 16 October 2023.
6. Prerequisites
a. It is necessary to have the municipality for the civilian vehicles that travel.
7. Recommendations.
a. Fuel approval should as quickly as possible to continue with the work.
