BRIEFING- Bridge Team Management

--INSTRUCTIONS--

(This report format is to be used for compiling any Bridge Team Briefing Reports).

a. Master should compile these reports.

b. All Bridge Team Briefing / Training carried out on board should be documented.

c. Master, Chief Engineer, All Deck Officers & Deck Cadets must attend.

d. Topics to discuss must include, but not limited to the following:

i) Berthing / Unberthing Plan in detail.

ii) Passage Planning - Berth to berth (Pilotage, Draft / Air Draft restrictions, Contingency Plans,
Manning Levels, Weather Planning, Past experiences)

iii) Local Regulations (Garbage Disposal, Fuel Change overs, Sewage Discharge, VGP Compliance,
Ballast Exchange , Reporting)

iv) Specific Instructions / Plans (TROP, Major Maintenance Plan, Immobilization, L/Boat Lowering,
Painting Permission etc.)
