Document Development Exposition: Instructions

Explain in detail your document’s development from planning to finish, describing your
challenges, how you overcame them, and what you learned.

Planning
Steps to teach someone how to juggle a soccer ball. Wanting visuals so people can fully understand
the task at hand. Big fonts so it is easy to read. Video at the end to showcase all the steps put
together.

First Draft (for peer editing)

Image added to the title of someone juggling a soccer ball. Basic Microsoft heading font for steps. No
photos, only steps. Center alignment on text for steps.

Second Draft (for your packet)

Use of photos to help the readers with a visual so they can see if they are doing the steps right.
Arrows on some photos to help more with direction of where the tester needs to go. Video at the
end to showcase how it should look.

Final Draft (for your portfolio)

I have made it so numbers are underneath each step instead of numbering the steps. There have
been changes to font to have their own style instead of the basic Microsoft ones. Notes were
italicized in order to tell the difference from the body text. The style of the title was changed to look
less basic. Notes are tabbed to the right and center alignment was removed on text for the steps. I
fixed the positioning for the video at the end to wrap with the text better. Removed the congrats
message. Numbering was restarted for the faster pace steps. Arrows made wider to have more of a
presence on the photos so a reader/tester won’t miss it.
