How to “Teach in the SALSIS unit:
1. To drive the car on recall you will need to use the “Install Mode” On the MX-GC there is
a JMOF switch to toggle it to Install mode. On the MX7.2 you will need to LOGIN to the
SMLCD – Commands – Services – MOF to turn Install Mode on [The Lift Status will
indicate “INSTALL”]
2. Access the SALSIS unit and press the two buttons together on the AC GSI main sensor
for at least 2 seconds.
3. Using the RECALL buttons drive the car down to the buffer then up until the Counterweight hits
the buffer then back down so you can access the car if required [ This process allows the SALSIS
to learn the floor magnet positions] Verify that the blue LUET LED lights up as you pass each
floor.
Handy Tip: If you GOTO Commands – Special Trips – KFM then set to ON you can then stop the doors from opening and
take the car out of the group – handy for testing, just don’t forget to turn off !
