Meningie Agricultural Program (MAP)

Planting seeds, growing success

The Meningie Agricultural Program (MAP) integrates agriculture into the R-12 Australian Curriculum at Meningie Area School. The aim of the MAP is to provide a quality, engaging and purposeful learning experience
that promotes sustainable agricultural practices from R-12. The MAP provides opportunities to help students achieve success both at school and beyond. The MAP is supported by the community of Meningie and
surrounding areas and has built strong partnerships with companies, businesses and families to support and provide opportunities to the students at Meningie Area School.

Junior Primary Middle School

The MAP is integrated into the STEM/Technology/Innovation All middle school students have the opportunity to compete at
Curriculum. the Royal Adelaide Show.

Senior School Meningie

Royal
All senior school students are provided with the opportunity to compete at the Royal Area
Adelaide Adelaide Show and are expected to lead the team. School
Show Agriculture in SACE

Steers, Aquaponics, Traineeships, Tractor License, Chainsaw License, Seeding and Hay
September Cutting. August
2021 Students completing their SACE are provided with the opportunity to specialise in an area 15th,
of agriculture and the MAP modifies the learning program to cater to their interests. 2021
