Important Information

1. Your Domain (Daiictpdc) login credentials use for both portals (Sophos captive portals, Moodle portals and print
service Whenever you will change Domain account password your captive portals, Moodle and print service will be same
login. You can’t change your password through Sophos login.

Note: To Change your Password for Domain ID (Moodle, Sophos) refer the below procedure

To change Domain account password using below procedure

1. Open web browser & type https://netpass.daiict.ac.in

You will see below screen

2. In Domain\Username type DAIICT\ (Your student ID)

3. In the current password type your existing password as above.

4. In new password & confirm new password type new password & it should be at Least 8 characters long
with alpha numeric combination.

5. Click on submit after submit you will get the message password changed successfully.

Note: If you forgot domain password email to help_desk@daiict.ac.in with your student id and name

2. Domain login id and password also used for access network resources like share folders (Lecture), Printers.

3. Gmail (Institute Email) id and password is used only for Gmail access.

4. Path of Access Lecture Folder

For windows Machine (Windows 7, 8.1, 10 & 11)


Click on Start --> Select Run and type \\10.100.56.21\Lecture

For Linux System (Ubuntu, Centos & Red Hat)

Step.1 Open Computer – File Browser > Click on Go –> Location

Step.2 Type smb://10.100.56.21/Lecture

Step.3 Enter daiictpdc credentials

5. Steps for Printing

Click on Start --> Select Run and type \\10.100.56.86

Type your user name daiict\Your Student ID (Ex, 2021000) & enter your password for the same.

Now double click on labhp5k from shared printer list.

Printer will be installed on your machine.

You can get your print Document in lab building room - 010 (Ground Flour)

6. Your print quota as per your course which is mention below:

M-Tech 100 Pages per Semester


M-ScIT 100 Pages per Semester
M Des 100 Pages per Semester
PhD 100 Pages per Semester
B-Tech 50 Pages per Semester

7. Follow Below Steps for Moodle courses registration: (First Time registration)

-> Open web browser and enter below url in address bar:

https://moodle.daiict.ac.in/login/index.php

-> Please enter your domain (Daiictpdc) account credentials in username & password type box

-> Fill Profiles details.

-> After fill up the all profile details click on Update Profile.

-> After that you will get a mail from moodleadmin@daiict.ac.in for registration confirmation.

-> Click on a link given in mail for confirmation.

-> Now you can logon with your domain account id and password.

8. Institute Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity in Hostel Rooms

Note: The Wi-Fi Connectivity available in Boys Hostel all rooms and Girls Hostel common space area

Step.1 Enable Wi-Fi in your device (Laptop or Mobile)

Step.2 Scan available Wi-Fi and Join of SSID Hostel or Hostel_5GHZ


Step.3. after successfully connected with above SSID name open browser and type url

https://dafirewall.daiict.ac.in:8090/

Note: The url is must be open in LAN and Wi-Fi connection

after open url you can see the captive portals page like “Welcome to the DA-IICT Web Client Portal”

Step.4 Login with your daiictpdc (Domain) credentials after enter credentials you can access the internet

9. For E-Campus You must install java runtime environment version 7u75/76 32Bit with Mozilla browser.

When you are login in E-campus then it will ask you to allow java plugin in browser, you have to allow now then java
applet running and tick on “I Accept …” and click on run.

If you want change password your ecampus password after login into ecampus Go to EDUSYS>UTILITIES> CHANGE
PASSWORD.

To reset ecampus password please email to help_desk@daiict.ac.in with your student id and Name

Note: Please do not share your account information (Windows Domain ID, Gmail id and Courses details) with anyone.
