Mr.P.L.A.A.Palaniappa Chettiar, permanently residing at No.9/21, Saravana
Street, T.Nagar, Chennai – 600 017, INDIA, and he is presently residing at
No.48560, Spokane RD, Fremont, California – 94539, USA, and he has given
power to me to purchase the plots in the layout “Sri Sai Nagar’, Situated at
No.23, Kanthur Village, Sunguvarchattram Taluk and Kancheepuram
District, I am enclosing herewith the following; [i] The Power of Attorney
dated 18.11.2023 – Xerox Copy & [ii] Affidavit sworn by me. The above said
power of attorney is still in force and the same is not revoked till the date.
And I hereby request you to kindly adjudicate the said power of
attorney and I undertake to pay the necessary charges for the same.

AFFIDAVIT

Mr.T.GANA SAMBANDHAM, Son of Mr.Thenappan, aged about 70


years, residing at Flat No.T, 3rd Floor, A-Block, Moon Light Apartments,
123, V.M.Street, Mylapore, Chennai – 600 004, Tamil Nadu, INDIA, do
solemnly affirm & state as follows:-

I. I am the Deponent herein.
II. Mr.P.ADAIKALAVAN, Son of Mr.P.L.A.A.Palaniappa Chettiar, about
about 65 years, presently residing at No.48560, Spokane RD, Fremont,
California – 94539, USA, do appoint me as his Power Agent at INDIA. As per
GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY DEED executed by him dated 18.11.2023,
at California, USA and I have collected from Mr.P.Adaikalavan on courier
dated , and I do certain acts on behalf of me as follows:
[1] To negotiate for the purchase any immovable property in one lot or more
or in undivided shares or by any other manner whatsoever.
[2] To enter into such agreements of sale with one or more persons as may be
necessary to purchase immovable property by one or more modes as may be
deemed fit.
[3] To pay/receive sale consideration on my behalf and to get/give a valid
receipt thereon.
[4] To execute sale deed or deeds for the purchase of immovable
property/properties and to present the deeds for registration and to admit
execution thereon and to receive the deeds duly registered.
[5] To purchase any stamp paper or other instruments as may be necessary in
my/our name for carrying out any one or more purposes of this deed and to
apply for and obtain or assist in obtaining the refund of stamp charges
wherever necessary.
[6] To sign or execute any letter or document of transfer of Patta or for any
other transfer as may be required including transfer of deposits in electricity
department.
[7] To execute any mortgage deeds, writings, undertakings indemnities etc on
my/our behalf in respect of mortgage of the said Property/ies.

So as per the General Power of Attorney Deed, I authorized to do all
such deeds and things including signing any paper/document as are
necessary and incidental to the above AND that any act or statement or
writing of any said Attorney in pursuance have to shall be deemed to be fully
authorized and ratified by him. So this affidavit is needed for proper
adjudication of the above said Power. Hence this Affidavit.

The above said particulars are true and correct to the best of my
knowledge and behalf.
