commercial and industrial businesses and in April

On April 11, 2022, TotalEnergies signed an
agreement to increase Cameron LNG’s liquefied
natural gas production capacity. The project
involves the construction of a fourth train with
a maximum production capacity of 6.75 million
metric tons per annum and a 5% increase in
the capacity of the first three trains. In May,
the Company announced the launch of a
carbon capture project to decarbonize the site’s
production. The captured and compressed CO2
will be stored in a saline aquifer. Storage capacity:
two million tons of CO2 a year.

storage and offloading unit (FPSO) produced its
first oil, capping nearly ten years of work and
launching production from the first development
phase of the Mero field. Three other phases will
follow. With three billion barrels of reserves, Mero
is one of the largest discoveries in the region.

and RIDG secured rights to develop a 2 GW offshore wind farm.
The West of Orkney wind farm will be located 30 kilometers
off the cost of Orkney. A few hundred kilometersto the south,
off the coast of Angus, the first turbine of Scotland’s largest
wind farm came on stream in late August. By first half 2023,
Seagreen will have 114 turbines in operation, for a capacity
of 1,075 megawatts.

for the Gas Vitality
Two giants engaged in a hypnotizing dance as seagulls
flew overhead: the CMA CGM BALI, an LNG-powered
containership that sails between Asia and Southern
Europe, and the Gas Vitality, our second chartered LNG
under vessel. It was on site to refuel the CMA CGM
ship. The delicate operation, which took 15 hours and
mobilized some 30 sailors, was a success.
It demonstrated the industry’s commitment to cleaner
marine fuel, a key component in shipping’s energy

Cement Plant
On October 4, 2022, TotalEnergies and Holcim signed
a Memorandum of Understanding to fully decarbonize
the Obourg cement plant. The goal is to capture, utilize
and store the some 1.3 million tons of CO2 emitted by
the plant each year. TotalEnergies will transport the
captured carbon to a facility producing e-fuel — a synfuel
combining CO2 and hydrogen — or to a geological
storage site in the North Sea. The agreement also calls
for the development of renewable projects to produce
green hydrogen and power Holcim’s new oxyfuel kiln.
