left Schitt’s Creek half an hour later traveling at a speed of 95 kilometers per hour, following the same route as
David. How long will it take Alexis to catch up to David?

3. For an on campus fundraiser you have been asked to create a large candy bowl to welcome guests. The bowl can
hold 6 kg of candy, and you plan to fill it with a mix of regular and caramel M&M’s. The fundraising committee
has told you that the value of the bowl should not exceed $12 per kg. At the store you see that regular M&M’s
cost $9 per kilogram and caramel M&M’s cost $18 per kilogram. How many kilograms of each type of M&M
should you buy?

4. You are asked to prepare 300 mL of acetic acid that has concentration of 30%. There is a supply of 35% acetic
acid available and 20% acetic acid available. How many millilitres of the 35% and how many millilitres of the 20%
acetic acid should be mixed to create the 300 mL of the 30% mixture?
