Activity 02 – Contemplate and Create

Using the Pew Research Center’s (2012) classification of religions based on self- identification of their
research respondents, conduct a mini study to understand the essential facts about each religious
affiliation. Explore as well if there exists a church or congregation of the aforementioned religions in
your immediate community.

Note: The data needed to answer this activity is already included in your readings. What are your
conclusions and realizations from the data you gathered?

• There are many diverse religious communities worldwide; some of these communities share
some customs with other communities, while other communities have entirely separate
practices from other communities. But since our traditions and convictions differ from one
another, it is essential that we respect them in order to promote world peace and avert religious
wars. This also shows that, despite the existence of other religious affiliations, Christians make
up the majority of followers of all world religions.
