Key Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Equipment Management:
Oversee the management and maintenance of all clinical equipment within the
department.
Ensure equipment availability and functionality for medical staff.

2. Equipment Procurement and Evaluation:

Collaborate with medical staff to identify equipment needs and assess new
technology.
Participate in the procurement process, including vendor selection and contract
negotiation.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and industry best
practices.
Conduct quality control checks on equipment and maintain documentation.

4. Maintenance and Repairs:

Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of clinical equipment.
Assist in troubleshooting complex equipment issues and perform repairs as needed.

5. Staff Training and Development:

Provide training and guidance to BMETs and medical staff on equipment operation,
safety, and best practices.
Facilitate training programs and workshops.

6. Inventory and Asset Management:

Manage an inventory of clinical equipment and spare parts.
Implement asset management systems to track equipment usage and maintenance.

7. Technology Assessment:
Stay updated on emerging healthcare technology trends and innovations.
Evaluate the feasibility and impact of implementing new technologies.

8. Budget Management:
Assist in developing and managing the department's budget for equipment
maintenance and procurement.

9. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, evaluations, and purchases.
Generate reports on equipment performance, costs, and compliance.

10. Emergency Response:

Be available for emergency equipment support during off-hours as needed.
Coordinate rapid response to critical equipment failures.

Actively participate in department meetings, committees, and projects.
Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
