Reflection Journal on learner-centered teaching philosophy

in the lesson plan or community work

As an elementary teacher I seek to it that my pupils learn something from me which is the Mathematics Subject. In
first quarter I teach my pupils the topic “Multiplying 2 to 3 digit numbers with regrouping” because they are having a
difficulties in multiplying numbers and struggling even small digit numbers.

In second quarter I continued to teach them the multiplication from 2 to 3 digit numbers with regrouping with a high
number which they are having a difficulties to reinforce the difficulties but also teaching them division. In division
some pupils were very attentive and some are struggling but they are doing there best to learn something new.

In third quarter I teach them Filipino with the topic Magalang na pananalita, just for example “Po, at Opo”, I teach
them to greet the elder” Good Morning and Good Afternoon”. And also say “thank you” who will give something to
you. And welcome after someone say thank you.

In fourth quarter I teach Araling Panlipunan with the topi about Mga Anyong Lupa. I let them to recognize what kind
of Anyong Lupa that they can see in the pictures that I can show them.
