Our topic for today’s lesson in Math is, ½ and ¼.


These are just basic fractions. It will be easy for you
to understand if you will listen to me carefully, okay? Yes ma’am!

I have here a circle,

I have here a rectangle,

If we will cut them into two parts, we called it ½


(half or kapitna).
Anything that is divided or cut into two, we called it
kapitna or ½. Yes ma’am1

Is that clear?

Now, get 1 pieces of paper, and make it into two
parts.
Next, in your paper, draw a circle and cut it into half.
Last, draw a heart and divide it into two. Yes, ma’am!

That is how ½ (half or kapitna) made.
