summaries and estimates under
APC;
8. Supervise and coordinate the
APC information collection
activities, including
reconnaissance and
surveillance, and interrogation
of criminal offenders, escapes
and on matters involving
local/national security;
9. Conduct intelligence coverage
against criminal subversive
elements and
personnel/organizations
considered as threat to national
security;
10.Collaborate with the Directorate
for Intelligence, Intelligence
Group, Regional Intelligence
Divisions of the PROs, other
concerned PNP Units, AFP and
other intelligence agencies of
the government on intelligence
matters;
11.Ensure the security and safety
of all classified matters handled
by the APC;
12.Perform other tasks as directed
by the Commander, APC.
OPERATIONS
MANAGEMENT
DIVISION
(OMD)
1. Plan recommend, manage and
evaluate operational activities of
the APC.
2. Formulate plans and programs
for sustainable and intensified APC
operations.
3. Formulate APC policy guidelines
as well as development plans and
supervise implementation of the
same.
4. Supervise and monitor the
conduct of boarder control to
facilitate ISO, in coordination with
other Area Police Commands
(APCs), and concerned Regional
Director, Police Regional Office,
Provincial Director, Police Provincial
Office, City Director, City Police
Office, and Chief of Police,
Component City/Municipal Police
Station.
5. Supervise and monitor the
intensified implementation of
campaign plans and Operation
Plans (OPLANS) to preserve
internal security against insurgents
and terrorist including the
manhunt, arrest, investigation, and
building-up and fitting of cases
against involved personalities, in
coordination with other Divisions
and Units of the APC;
6. Supervise and monitor the
support operations of APC on
search and rescue and retrieved
(SRR) operations in times of
calamities and other emergencies
as well as area security operations
during major events.
7. Undertake periodic review and
assessment of the performance of
APC on the overall conduct of ISO.
8. Prepare recommendations to
the Director, APC regarding the
necessary revision, amendment,
modification or rescission of
existing policies that shall be
subsequently submitted to the
Directions for Operations;
9. Formulate and submit to the
Chief, PNP (through TDCO)
strategic ISO Plan in collaboration
with other Directors, APCs.
10. Perform other tasks as directed
by Commander, APC.
