welding shop.
Initial core team member of TPM implementation in welding shop.
Line balancing resulting in manpower reduction in welding shop by 8% (18 manpower reduction) (Using
JH and KK Pillar)
5S drive to visual controls implemented in welding shop.
Cost saving by implementation of the central cooling system in welding shop.
Line efficiency increased from 73% to 89.5% by improving various processed (Using JH & KK pillar)
Reduction in rejection – 11% door rejection which is reduced to 2% and the target taken was of 3% in
stage-1 (Using KK Pillar)
Successful implementation of JH (Jishu Hozen) in welding shop - Results in reducing downtime of the
machines hence increasing the overall efficiency of the C-zone.
Successful implementation of KK (Kobetsu Kaizen) in welding shop – Helps in resolving old pending issues
in line and improving the line efficiency and parallelly reducing the manpower.

Accident free zone: Zero accidents in Metal finish line from last 3 consecutive years.
System making its implementation: of QD gate for controlling outflow and process improvement.
System improvement: For controlling outflow of defects from final line (68% reduction).
Successful implementation of face to face communication with line associates throughout the company.
A part of the team for successful certification of OHSAS 18001.
Sustenance of TPM and introduction of new pillars in welding shop with core team.
NPD - Successful production handover of new models like – Amaze, CRV, Honda city 4th and 5th generation.
Cost saving activities – Reduction in event car processing time (by improving the processes) – Honda city 5th
Gen. – 6 day’s time reduced in Dhankaku event and 8 day’s reduced in Hinkaku event.

Hourly process checking PA announcement system in welding shop (still implemented in Maruti Suzuki,
Manesar Plant – with my own voice recording).
