Evaluation

Student: Mia

Considering her young age, Mia is surprisingly comfortable in the use of English. Her
understanding follows naturally from story and picture discussions, as well as some
Listening: improvised drawing we both do during the lesson. She can normally answer quickly
and correctly. She is great at giving her own ideas about how the story might continue
and has a very creative way of solving problems.

If interested in the story, Mia is usually a talkative student. She loves speaking and
explaining things. When she doesn’t know a word in English, she uses the pen and
Speaking: explains while drawing, or she just gets up and tries to explain things through
movement, which the teacher thinks are all natural and logical resources for a student
her age.

Generally, Mia reads well. When she gets stuck at a more complex or unfamiliar word,
Reading: she pick up the correct pronunciation quickly and continues pronouncing and using
the word correctly. She understand both the main idea and the finer details of the
story.
I suggest Mia should continue reading and speaking in English as much as she can

and whenever appropriate. She has a natural talent for English and should be
learning
frequently exposed to it as she will be able to effortlessly acquire vocabulary and
courses:
sentence structures.

Teacher I believe Mia is already encouraged by her parents to use English. Way to go! When
