With a very low-moisture

content (five to seven
percent) and low ash
(one to two percent),
wood pellets ship in
standard dry bulk vessels.
This maximizes economic
efficiency and is envi-
ronmentally preferable
because such vessels can
be used to ship freight
on the return trip as well.
