This unit covers the unit of competency: Research Methods in Business Management
CREDIT HOURS: 1.5 HRS
Duration of Unit: 30 hours
Unit Description
The unit is intended to develop the learners’ research knowledge and skills. They will
acquire competence that would enable them enhance their effectiveness and efficiency
in planning, conduction and presenting research findings.
Summary of Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, the learner should be able to:

1. Explain the history and importance of research


2. Use basic terms of research in explaining the process
3. Formulate a research problem and identify objectives of conducting research
