This document discusses the design and evaluation of an Oil Dispensing and Collecting Apparatus that is used to dispense and collect transmission and differential oil in automotive shops and schools. The apparatus was designed to conveniently service transmissions and differentials. The study aimed to solve mechanics problems by developing the apparatus and creating an operations manual. Researchers evaluated the functionality, maintainability, usability, and safety of the completed prototype through surveys of respondents.

The Oil Dispensing and Collecting Apparatus is an equally-
convenient equipment carefully designed dispense and
collect oil specifically for transmission and differential. This device is used in automotive shops for transmission and differential servicing, as well as in automotive schools for transmission and differential instruction. This study is an attempt to solve some of the existing mechanics problems concerning transmission and differential. It aims to seek answer the following problems: (1) What is the design and construction of the Oil Dispensing and Collecting Apparatus? (2) What is the content of the operations manual of the apparatus? And (3) What is the level of acceptability of the Oil Dispensing and Collecting Apparatus in terms of: a. Functionality; b. Maintainability; c. Usability; and d. Safety. The researchers employed two research methods. These are the developmental and descriptive research methods. The completed prototype was shown to the respondents, who were then asked to fill out assessment or evaluation papers to assess its acceptability
