In accordance to the study conducted by Sadique et.

al. (2015) entitled Design, Modelling, Fabrication and

Testing of Oil Measuring & Dispensing Machine, results

showed that when proper evaluation of the design was

performed, it created something even better instead of

simply manually operated operations and that atomize

machine is better option to use instead of manually

operated. The demands of automatic oil measuring and

dispensing machine for automobile garages and workshops

& other customers is also considered while designing

machine. Purpose of fabrication of this machine was to

determine the suitability of machine for use. 7 The previous

study is related to the present study as it involves design,

modelling, fabrication and testing of the device. However,

the previous study differs from the present study since it is a

device designed for Oil Dispensing and Collecting in

transmission and differential.

Another significant study evaluated by Babu et. al (2010),

entitled "A Comparative Study of Used Oil Collection

Strategies" showed that the point-of-use collection method

was superior in terms of cost effectiveness and

environmental impact, as it reduced the amount of oil lost

due to evaporation or spillage and minimized transportation

costs. However, the centralized collection method was more

efficient for large-scale oil producers who required large

volumes of used oil to be collected at once. 8 The previous

study is related to the present study since both specifically

aimed in improving collection of used oil practices and

address environmental issues such as pollution. However,

the previous study differs from the present study as it solely

focused on the used oil collection strategies to provide

recommendations for improving used oil collection

practices.
