Dear Dean Mercy Milagros Apuhin,

Greetings with peace and solidarity!

I am writing this letter as an apology for not being able to purchase the prescribed textbook,
Gerontologic Nursing, in NCM-114.

I was not able to buy a book since based on our financial situation right now, we cannot afford
the price of the books. My mother has no work anymore, hence, only my father is supporting us
right now. Thus, my parents had to prioritize other urgent needs and matters in our family. But
despite the hardships, I am determined to study and have my own resources as an alternative
to this book in order to aid my academic performance.
