The above subject is referred to.

2. My name is Siti Nur Athirah Binti Mohd Zaini, programme vice director for UTM:
Road to Makassar (ROTMA '24), a cultural exchange programme initiated by Student
Council of Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail (JKM KTDI), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). This
cultural exchange programme is our anchor initiative to Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) and our organisation's niche area, ‘Diversity & Multiculturalism’. It is with great
pleasure that I extend an invitation to you and your esteemed institution to collaborate with
us for UTM: Road to Makassar (ROTMA '24). The event details are as follows :-

Program : UTM: Road to Makassar (ROTMA '24)

Location : Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia

3. The primary objective of UTM: Road to Makassar (ROTMA '24) is to foster cultural
exchange and understanding between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and the
community in Makassar. The program has several key goals:

(i) Promote Cultural Understanding: To promote understanding and tolerance

between different cultures and introduce the rich Bugis culture to a new
generation of students.

(ii) Benchmark Visit: To represent all technology universities in Malaysia by

making a benchmark visit to Indonesia.

(iii) International Participation: Increase the participation of UTM students at

the international level and expand opportunities for international involvement
for our students.
 (iv) Cultural Relations: Encourage international cooperation by creating a
meaningful cultural relationship between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
(UTM), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) and Universitas Muhammadiyah
Makassar (UNISMUH).

4. We firmly believe that your collaboration with us will add significant value to our
programme and create a mutually beneficial partnership. Your participation will greatly
benefit both the participants and our collaborative partners. For more detailed information
about the programme, please refer to Attachment I, which provides a comprehensive
overview of our plan. Should you require any further information or have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact me. We eagerly await your response and hope to
embark on this exciting journey of cultural exchange and collaboration.
