Dear Sir,
I regret to inform you that my uncle (NAME: ABDUL MALEK, PASSPORT NUMBER: BQ
0446595, DISTRICT: CHUADANGA, MOTHERS NAME: ROKEYA KHATUN) who was a
migrant worker in Malaysia with legal status passed away on 12th July 2021 contracting Covid 19.
He was buried in Malaysia, and we applied for the financial grant of 3 lakh taka in December
2021.

My deceased uncle’s family including his mother who needs expensive medications every month
and his younger brother, who is incapable of any manual job because of his medical conditions
used to be totally financially dependent on him. The family had been surviving until now by
using up all from a few my uncle left them with, leasing all their cultivable land, lending money
from people, as of i am writing to you now all of those resources have already been dried up. So,
they are in a dire state socioeconomically and are in need of this fund very badly, what will be a
great help in the short term and help them get some form of a breather.

I have contacted officers from Khulna and Chuadanga several times and they say they are waiting
for some kind of list from the embassy verifying my uncle’s status, without that they can’t
proceed. My uncle’s family have been awaiting this grant for over two years and can’t
comprehend why it’s taking so much time, even though he was a legal worker there and they
applied following all the procedures with all the valid documents such is the kind of helplessness
and desperation they are into. Very recently i came across “আর্থক ি অনুদান নীর্িমালা “and
there it’s clearly stated that you have the power to streamline the process in this kind of
exceptional circumstances.
So, we request your intervention in to this so that his family can get of their feet at-least
financially through this fund what they rightfully deserve, after all they have been through
emotionally. I am attaching all the documents with this letter used during the application
