Mechanical: Anti-glare, Low-reflection treatment applied; this also improves viewing angle.
Module Revision Number changed to 04A for Mechanical change.

Electronic: Abnormal input signal detect feature deleted.

Module Revision Number changed to 05A for Electronic plus Mechanical change.

Effect of Change:
This is a running change, taking place during January 2007.

The mechanical change replaces the module’s polarizer with an improved antireflective version that
improves the haze value to 40% from 25%, also improving the module’s viewing angle
characteristics. Modules incorporating this change are available without the electronic change
described herein. Modules incorporating only the mechanical change are marked as ‘Revision 04A’.

The electronic change deletes the “Panel Protection” function. The intention of this function was to set
the display to all-black if ENAB timing violated specification. The module operates normally if
standard signal timing parameters are satisfied. All modules incorporating the electronic change also
incorporate the mechanical change. Modules incorporating the electronic and mechanical changes
are marked as ‘Revision 05A’. (Modules are not available with only the electronic change.)
