Overall assessment
1. Look up the student's written test score in the scoring table in your PT book.
2. Think about the student's listening, pronunciation and interactive skills during the interview.
3. Consider what level the student reached in the interview, and how easy it was for them overall.
4. Think about the student's writing - what it tells you about their potential to succeed at a given level.
5. Based on all of the above, write the sublevel which you'd place the student in the Primary Level box below. This corresponds to
level they are the most comfortable in.
6. Now, choose an alternative placement sublevel, one higher or lower, in the Alternative Level box below (no Alternative level
for students placing into BG).
7.True Beginners (cannot answer basic questions) cannot study at LLV. Write True BG on the comments section of the PT
summary sheet.
