● Log in the link (https://www.matific.com/au/en-au/home/ ) ● Download Matific app from Google Play Store (A) Before the Competition: ● Get your own login details (Matific username & password) from Maths teacher ● Use your own login details to login Matific ● Try to complete Matific’s Placement Test
What is Placement Test?
- Also known as the Pilot Training
- A 20-min test to determine your level and set of activities in the Adventure Island - Will get the test when you access Adventure Island for the first time Students will complete the activities in the Adventure Island during competition days. Students will need to complete the Placement Test before they start to play activities in the Adventure Island. (B) During Competition Days: Steps: 1. Login to Matific 2. Go to Adventure Island 3. Start to play activities 4. Target: Collect 300 stars until the end of the competition Things to take note: During competition days, ● You may login and logout of Matific as many times as you want, at any time ● Can attempt an activity multiple times (only the attempt which gets maximum stars will be added to the competition total)
After collecting 300 stars,
● You can keep playing activities, but the stars you earn won’t be added to your competition total ● Stars from Maths activity completed outside of Adventure Island will not be added to the competition total (C) After the Competition:
● You will have access to Matific
till 22nd September 2023 ● You will receive an e-certificate from Matific (the category of certificate is based on the percentage of stars collected) Top 3 Winners ● Will be selected by Matific from the school (with no fixed level) ● Will get 2 rewards: winner’s e - certificate & a MCE Math assessment book Are you ready for adventure?
