Exam Circular for Parents

Dear Parents,

Greetings!

We shall be ending our Second Phase of Online Learning on September 30, 2020. We hope that during this period
of online learning our students have adapted themselves to a newer and latest way of learning with help of Live
Classes and G-Suite features. We have to share some important information with you. Please read the below
mentioned points carefully:

❖ Evaluation Phase 2 – To evaluate the online learning conducted in the months of July, August and September
2020 it is decided to conduct evaluation test which is divided into

Project/Assignment (20 marks) Offline Subjective (40 marks) Online Objective Test (40 marks)
90 MINUTES 40 MINUTES

✓ Online Objective Test will be based on MCQ Pattern.

✓ Students will take the Objective tests on Google Forms.
✓ Offline Subjective test will be done at home and answer sheet will be uploaded on Google
classwork.
✓ Project/Assignments will be given to students to be submitted between Sept 14th - Sept 26th2020.
✓ Both Subjective and Objective tests of a Subject will be conducted on the same day.

Requirement and Procedure ( for 20 marks)

✓ Project/Assignments-
Requirement- As per the direction of the subject teacher.
▪ As per the direction of their subject teachers, students will prepare projects/ assignments
and upload it on Google Classwork within the given time period.
▪ The uploads must be clear and completed as per the directions received from the teacher.
▪ Non submission or absenteeism of student from the above will result in receiving Zero
marks.

✓ Objective Test Procedure for students-

Requirement- 5G WIFI or 4G internet connection, a laptop/computer/mobile phone/tablet and
electricity/ battery backup, School email id and password.
▪ For Class 6-10, the Objective test will be conducted online via Google Docs and students will
require internet connectivity for the same.
▪ The link of the MCQ test will be posted by Subject Teacher in the respective subject
classroom at 9am on the day of the test. The link will work with G-suite ID and open only
at 9:30am.
▪ Students to Refresh their screen before attempting the test. No retest will be conducted for
the student.
▪ Student can only access the test from his school official email id.
▪ Please make sure the password is written at one place for the convenience of logging in
every day.
▪ Non submission or absenteeism of student from the above will result in receiving Zero
marks.
✓ Subjective Test Procedure for students-
Requirement- A Camera Phone/tablet/ laptop/computer (a scanner or a digital camera for picture
clicking and transferring to Laptop/computer),5G WIFI or 4G internet connection ,
electricity/battery backup, School email id and password, writing sheets and writing instruments.

▪ On the day of the Exam, Examination Controller shall post the question paper in the
respective subject Google Classroom’s Classwork option at 7:30am
▪ Each student from Classes 6-10 will download/open this test and do it in Register Size Page
or any Pin Page or ruled A4 sheet.
▪ Each student must prewrite his name/class, roll nbr on answer sheets likely to be used.
▪ After writing the answers, Firstly these sheets should be clicked /scanned by a camera in a
portrait view, secondly it should be converted to PDF ( use TAP Scanner on Google Play
Store/online converters available) , thirdly it should be uploaded in the respective subject
classroom under Classwork option and lastly Turn In should be pressed.
▪ Parents please see that the students upload the file and not the link to the file or drive.
▪ It must be strictly done within the due time given. Any late upload will result in marks
deduction.
▪ Teachers will not accept photos on Whatsapp. The same will not be assessed.
▪ These answer sheets must then be kept in a folder by the student.
▪ Non submission or absenteeism of student from the above will result in receiving Zero
marks.
▪ We seek the support of parents in helping the students to upload the images of the
answer sheets on google classwork and submitting it.

Parents,

You are requested to make required arrangements for your ward for taking these tests.

For attempting both the tests on the same day the child will require sufficient preparation and learning.
Please train the child for the same starting today. Writing practise is a must to be able to complete the
written test in time which will be followed by the objective test.
