Dear Parents
Warm greetings!

children of classes IX and X will be held in the month of May. Kindly go through the circular and
the given attachments for the schedule of examination, datesheet and blue print of the
question paper.
PERIODIC ASSESSMENT-1 will be a WRITTEN ONLINE ASSESSMENT (OBJECTIVE + SUBJECTIVE)
which will be conducted for each subject via online mode. It will commence w.e.f 24th May, 2021
as per the schedule given via attached documents. (Refer to the Attachments 1,2 & 3 )

A. Periodic Assessment -1 (Objective + Subjective) will be of 30 marks in each subject.

B. It will commence from 24th May 2021.
C. The time scheduled for each online assessment will be of 45 minutes i.e. 8:15 am to 9:00 am
( 15 minutes extra time i.e. 9:00 am to 9:15 am ) will be given for uploading the pdf of the
subjective assessment in the subjects viz Mathematics, Hindi and Punjabi or any other
subject if applicable.
D. Kindly adhere to the following instructions while attempting the Online Written
Assessments.
1. During the Assessment time, it is mandatory for each child to keep his/her video on else
the child will not be marked for the assessment. As observed last year , some students
do not turn on video during online classes as well as assessment time, we request you to
kindly ensure the video of the child is on during Assessments. It may be noted that in
case the child’s video is off during the assessment, he/she will not be marked for
assessment. Further, it may be noted that in case any child’s video is off and teacher calls
his/her name and no response is there then the child will be marked absent for the
assessment.
2. As it is not possible for the teacher to keep a strict vigil on the children, so we request the
parents to help the school take these assessments in true spirit. For the same, we request
you to see that your ward is not cheating or following any unfair means to complete the
assessment as these assessments are for the benefit of the students only.
3. Duration of the Online Written Assessment (Objective + Subjective) will be of 45
minutes i.e. 8:15 am to 9:00 a.m. (which includes completion of both Objective as well as
Subjective Assessment.) The time from 9:00 am to 9:15 am will be for uploading
/submitting the subjective assessment as per the subject requirement.
4. The Assessment will be conducted through online class only. No student will be allowed
to leave the class before submitting both the assessments. i.e. Objective/ Subjective.
Both objective and subjective assessment will be taken on the same day as per the given
time schedule.
5. On the day of the assessment, each child will join the class by 8:00 am sharp so that
the assessment link can be shared at scheduled time i.e. by 8:10 am without any
delay.
6. No retests will be conducted for these assessments. (It is mandatory for the child to
give assessment as per the scheduled date and time for each subject.)
7. We request you to kindly ensure that the child sits at a comfortable place while
appearing for the assessment. Movement in the background/ surroundings is often a
source of disturbance for the child as a result of which the performance of the child
might hinder. Hence, ensure your child sits in a separate room for attempting the
assessment so as to avoid any disturbance in the background.
8. It has often been observed that in certain cases (in some gadgets), there is a repeated
request for signing into Google account while attempting the assessment. We request the
parents to ensure that their mobile/laptop/notepad etc. (through which the child is
operating, in order to appear for the assessment) should remain signed in to Google
account so as to avoid wasting time during the assessment. Further, in case the device
with which you have logged in, asks for Sign in option kindly Click on Sign in and enter
your Google account id and password to open the Google form (through which child will
be attempting his/her assessment). Also, ensure the child should log in for the
assessment with one id as well as single device only. (In case of siblings, we request you
to ensure they attempt the assessment with two different ids and not use the same id for
both the children).
1. On the day of the assessment (Objective and Subjective) one single link will be shared by the
teacher for the Google Form which will comprise of both Objective as well as Subjective
assessment questions. Kindly click on the submit button after attempting the complete paper
i.e both Objective as well as Subjective.
