METHOD

The descriptive survey method is employed in this research to determine the Perception on the

use of Google Applications among the student at Kolehiyo Ng Subic.

Type Of Research

In this survey research, the purpose and objective of the survey are defined. The

researcher selects a sample of respondents, administers questionnaires, or conducts interviews to

collect information on variables of interest. The results of survey are typically reported in a

descriptive manner. They are summarized in tables with corresponding descriptive information.

While description is the usual mode in reporting the results of the survey, any appropriate

analysis or reporting can be done to fit the research problem.

The researcher believes that this method is the most appropriate and acceptable for the

study since it is intended to assess the perception on the use of Google Applications among the

students at Kolehiyo Ng Subic.

Respondents
A total of fifty (50) as respondents for this study in college students at Kolehiyo Ng

Subic.

The information to be gathered by the researcher from the student-respondents will be

classified as follows: profile of the student-respondents and Perception on the use of google

applications.

Sampling Method

The fifty (50) respondents of this research proposal were already identified, the set a 3 rd

Year Bachelor Of Science In Computer Science (BSCS) students as universal sampling can be

claimed as the sampling method to be used for this study.

Sources of Data

The Perception on the use of Google Applications 3rd year Set A Bachelor Of Science in

Computer Science (BSCS) students are the sources of data of the study.

Instruments

The instrument to be used in this study is the checklist type of survey questionnaire on

perception on the use of google applications.

The questionnaire consists of three parts. The first part is the introduction of the

study. The researcher explaining to the respondents what the study is all about. The second part

of the questionnaire focuses on the profile of the student - respondents. This includes the

respondents age, gender , relationship status and also the year level. The third and final part of
the questionnaire is Perception of the students on using Google Application. In part, questions

divided into three (3) factors namely Google Classroom, Google Forms, Google meet.

Data Collection Procedure

Before the conduct of the study , the researcher will ask permission from the school dean

on the conduct of the study. After getting the approval on the conduct of the study , the

researcher will personally administer the questionnaire-checklist which included the personal

information of the respondents and the checklist on the perception on the use of Google

Applications.

The data gathering procedure will be undertaken during the second week of May 2023. In

addition , Before the research instrument will be given to the fifty (50) student-respondents , The

researcher explain the purpose of the study and each respondent will be given an assurance and

confidentiality , privacy and anonymity. They have the option of refusal to participate in the

survey. The instruments will be distributed to the respondents and will be given enough time to

answer all the items on the checklist. All the completed questionnaire-checklist will be collected

personally by the researcher . The responses of the respondents will be organized and analyzed

using appropriate statistical tools. The data will be collected will finally use in generating the

findings and completion of this undertaking.


Ethical Considerations

The ten ethical points represented by Bryman and Bell (2007) were strictly considered

in the conduct of this study.

1. Research participants are not subjected to harm in any way.


2. Respect for the dignity of research participants will be prioritized.
3. Full consent is obtain both from the SDS and participants.
4. The protection of the privacy of research participants will be ensured.
5. Adequate level of confidentiality of the research data will be ensured.
6. Anonymity of individuals participating in the research will be ensured.
7. Deception or exaggeration about the aims and objectives of the research will be avoided.
8. Affiliations in any forms, sources of funding, as well as any possible conflicts of interests will
be declared.
9. Communication in relation to the research will be done with honesty and transparency.
Misleading information, as well as representation of primary data findings in a biased way will

be avoided.
