Morning Session
In January of 1987 I had the experience that would reveal to me the basics of Human Design. And
aside from the fact that it was a rather bizarre experience, and a rather painful one as well as one that
was obviously fascinating. When you come out of such an experience – and it was very intensive, it
lasted eight days, I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink, I was in a very peculiar state – my first response was
depression. I was living wild and I didn’t have anything. I hadn’t seen money in my hand in nearly
four years, hadn’t talked to a human being in over two years and I was sitting under a fig tree and I
was thinking about the madness of what I had just experienced. And I have a black sense of humour
and I had this funny feeling that this was not something that I was ever going to tell anyone about.
The idea that I would stand up – as I have done for 15 years – and gone through the process of
saying to people “A Voice told me how everything works..”, that is a perfect state of madness.
What disturbed me was that it seemed logical. After all, I was simply shown the matrix. I was shown
the configuration. I can remember the experience of drawing the bodygraph for the first time and
putting the numbers in place and all of these things under instruction was very bizarre. The nature of
that bodygraph and thinking about it, I thought, well, I didn’t have anything else to do. I might as well
take a look and see myself.
And that was quite a process for me. The “ruina” where I had the experience, the man who lived
there was an English poet. And he dabbled in all kinds of things. He had been a personal assistant
to Krishnamurti for many years. He was fluent in Sanskrit. Very strange man. And he had many
books in his ruina and some of the books were astrological. And I knew very little about astrology. It
was only a few years before that I found out that I was an Aries; I had no idea about any of it.
And so I went through this laborious process - and it was inaccurate, by the way - of trying to figure
out what my design was; it wasn’t like there was a computer program and all that stuff. And I was not
familiar with all that. When I finally got to see my design, I kept on thinking about how static it was; it
was just this fixed blueprint. And I had yet to have the time and experience to be able to recognise
what that blueprint was saying to me; I had no idea what it was really saying to me.
I had a very rudimentary understanding of what I was looking at. And the only thing I could think of
was well I'm really going to understand how this works unless I could see this thing in motion. How
does this very static, 2-dimensional graphic become alive? And it was obvious to me that if all of this,
in fact, was based on programming that we receive from planetary objects – and I was told in my
experience that function through the agency of neutrinos with mass, which science would ultimately
prove was correct – then the only way that I could see my life was in the flow. To see my life in time,
as it moved moment by moment.
And by being able to grasp that, or chart that, to be able to find out whether or not any of this was
anything more than sheer madness. You cannot have an experience like that and assume that it’s
correct or true. It’s madness, after all. I was as crazy as they come. People were terrified of me. I
was really wild. I had no idea at that point whether any of this was anything more than some kind of
mad, brain breakdown of some kind. Some weird form of schizophrenia or whatever. Being smart is
a handicap when you have a mystical experience! And being as rational as I am is really a problem
when you have a mystical experience, because your brain’s in there saying ‘that was pure
schizophrenia’.
Had it not been for the logic of Human Design I never would have told anybody anything. It would
have been my private moment of madness and I would have gone about my business of staying wild
and enjoying it. Because that’s my design.

And what changed all of that was watching the movement and the programming of the planets. I had
rd th
my experience at the beginning of January, from 3 – 11 January 1987 – and in the programme in
January and February there is continual activation by the Sun and in the inner planets, Mercury,
Venus and Mars, of the emotional centre, or activations of gates to and in the human emotional
system.
I have undefined emotional centre. I only have one gate activated of the seven gates of the emotional

system and it’s the 49 gate, unconscious. When I disappeared in 1983 I was somebody who had
made all of the decisions up to that point in my life based on emotions. I was considered to be
emotionally volatile, I’d gone through three divorces, I’d gone through the amplification, the peaks an
valleys of emotions and I’d lived my whole life giving emotions authority.
I just assumed that there was something wrong with me emotionally and this is what everybody else
assumed! That I had a chaotic emotional system and that, in fact, as it turned out being an Ego
Manifestor and being so yang as I am, being driven by the amplification of the emotional system
made me a very uncomfortable, if not dangerous, person. I hurt a lot of people along the way.
In that experience of waking up to my design, that is to see the openness of my emotional system,
and being the serendipity of having the planets about to plug me up, it was perfect. It was so perfect

that when the 19 gate was activated, I found myself sitting on a rock crying. And there was no
reason for me to cry. And I was deeply emotional. And it was the Moon. And it really blew my mind!
The Moon! ‘You mean the Moon is going to come into my body and make me cry?’ It was like some
kind of science fiction movie. It didn’t seem plausible. ‘Does it really work that way?’
After all I was the first student of Human Design. I'm a messenger; I didn’t invent this. I have had the
same moments of doubt, wonder, denial - ‘Does this rock up there make my cry? That’s not possible.
It must be something else’. But it was the Moon.

Not only that. 19 gates are my sisters. I have two older sisters and they both have the 19 gate.

And so I grew up with emotional conditioning. And when the 19 gate is activated, I smell my sisters.
Many years ago my Dad was killed in car accident when he was in his eighties. And I was far away in
a very different space, and four or five years later on a tour in North America I stopped by to visit my
mother in Hamilton, Ontario. And she asked me if I wanted to go out to the grave of my father. And I
said “Yes, sure”. And so she and my eldest sister picked me up the next morning at my hotel and
took me out to the cemetery. And we went walking along and at some point we came to a whole row
and my mother said to me “The grave is just down there and it’s on the right”. And my mother and
sister walked away.
And so I came to the gravestone of my father. And I cried for my father when I knew he was gone.
I'm not a sentimental being, I'm unemotional and by that time in my process I was living my nature
and I'm just very cool about everything. And there it was, very sweet – ‘Father, Grandfather, Great
Grandfather’. And I was sitting at the edge of the grave and lost in some kind of reverie, and all of a
sudden I felt a pain. It came in on my left side, through my back, into my kidneys and I could feel it
like a knife piercing me. And at the same instant that I could feel this knife piercing me, the tears
started to come out of my eyes. And there I am sobbing. And I turn around and there's my mother
and my sister. All the tears that I had in the years that I grew up, everything I understood about tears,
it was them. There was no emotion for me in dealing with the grave of my father. None. I was just
there. But in the moment that they stepped into my aura, in the moment they brought that energy, all
of that came flooding out through me.
And I had tasted it long ago. On that first morning when I felt the Moon connect to my 49 and bring
tears to my eyes. I would then go through the ordeal of the planets hitting all my emotional system.
And each one brought me another taste. It was incredible. It was like I could begin to remember
people and the way in which I responded. I could see faces when gates would open. I had no
connection with other people. There was no human being in my aura. There was simply me and the
planets, nothing else.
And because I wasn’t conditioned by contemporary astrological thought, and all of these things about
the values of planets, and what they mean, and what they do, I was a virgin. And every time a planet

touched a gate and opened up a channel for me, and defined a process for me, not only did I get to
understand the nature of how I had been conditioned all my life, but I met these forces. They're not
out there, they're in here. Every day. All the time. Endlessly.
And they're really different. They're flavours. You have a gate. It’s active. There's nothing on the
other side. If you're lucky, you get to meet them all there. It depends on where Pluto and Neptune
are in their cycle. But look in your design for a gate that any of those forces can touch and there is
the greatest teaching you'll ever have about what they are. You want to know the planets? You want
to meet the gods? You can meet the gods in yourself. They're really there. You can taste them.
And how different they are in the way in which they programme us. Because they programme us
uniquely. It’s like my experience of Saturn; everybody’s got this thing about Saturn. Saturn’s day –
Saturday. There's this great fear of Saturn; it’s ancient. This is the punisher. This is the one that will
judge you. People quake when they have Saturn oppositions. Saturn is there; it will press every
single one of your buttons. It will just hammer you. And Saturn’s been equated with everything – the
devil. All kind of dark forces.
But anyway when I first experienced Saturn, I experienced it as female. Didn’t feel male to me at all, I
couldn’t understand what the hell the astrologers were talking about. No male is that cruel! If you
don’t believe me, let me introduce you to Durga or Kali. Saturn’s not male! Males basically are
woossies. Mercury, yeah. Crazy Mars, yeah. But Saturn? Saturn is bull dyke. That’s the only way
you can think of Saturn as being male is if she's dressed up as one! And I guess that’s all that
Mediterranean mythology did, dress her up.
But you see I don’t take anybody's word for anything. And I certainly don’t take the word of those that
claim to understand the mythological values of gods. It’s like Venus. Look what the Romans did to
poor Venus! Turned her into this boudoir goddess.
Now the Mayans knew better. When they were preparing for ritual executions who did they wait for to
rise in the sky? Venus.
The point of that is not to believe me either. It has never been my business to have people believe
me. Everything about this knowledge is that it’s empirical and you find out for yourself. Nobody can
wake you up; you can only wake up yourself.
And the same thing is true for this value that you give to the planets. You have to find that value.
They're our allies in that sense. And don’t misunderstand my anthropomorphisation of the planets as
gods. It’s fun. I like to think of them as the gods. It’s easier for people to romanticise than it is to
simply recognise that this is just a mechanical process. It’s all part of the machinery. It’s all part of
the way in which the Maya operates.
But in giving them those personalised names, it gives us a way to share their values. You have to
know what it feels like. You have to meet Venus, Mars, Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter. You have to
meet them within yourself. This is the beauty of design. One of the things I love so much about this
knowledge is that it gave me a chance to understand nurturing. Nature is easy now. We've got a
verified genetic matrix. We can give you your type and profile. We can give you a mechanical way in
which you can operate in the world successfully as yourself. It’s wonderful. But the beauty for me is
the interaction with the forces, the interaction with the other, the interaction with the world. It’s the
way we meet the other.
If you meet the other as yourself you get to see the beauty that’s there. You get to meet what's there.
I've met the forces. Oh boy, what a trip. It’s worth the ride, eh? And each and every one of us has a
real capacity within ourselves to meet them. Legitimately. To meet the forces that have been
transforming our lives. To meet the very forces of this way that people bowed their heads to for
thousands of years. Think of it. Because it’s true. We've always been programmed by these
agencies.
And our language to describe this programming has gone from being deeply, deeply primitive to very
sophisticated. But it’s still the old gods. I still love Jupiter. Jovian Archive. All hail Zeus. I'm an Aries
with my Jupiter in Sagittarius; you can't get more on the ascendant in Sagittarius. You can't get more

Jupiterian than me. I think I've even had as much sex as Jupiter and that’s really saying something!
I'm very Jupiterian.
The gods and goddesses, I love them. It’s so much fun to be in the game with them. After all, I know
that they don’t have any choice either. It’s not like Jupiter decides to be Jupiter; it’s just a crystal that
takes the neutrino information and filters it and gives us what we call Jupiter, what we call Zeus. But
it’s so much fun when you can actually meet it on your own terms, directly within yourself.
There's only one thing out of my experience with The Voice that I created – I made the first
Ephemeris. And I made it for myself. I still have it. That’s a funny thing to look at. This was my first
adventure in a kind of education I never imagined was possible.
You see when you begin a process in Human Design you begin with the dilemma of the not-self. You
begin with the dilemma of all of the things that you are not. And most of what's there in your
differentiated graph, that is what makes you unique, is white. Look at all those unactivated gates.
Look at all those unactivated channels. Look at all those unactivated centres. All that whiteness.
Two thirds of it is white.
And when you begin this process, because we’re conditioned genetically to be attracted to what we’re
not, we end up in this horror of spending our whole lives trying to be consistently what is inconsistent.
We spend all our time trying to be that white stuff. We lose our nature. We become an imitation in
the nurture. We pretend. And in that pretending we’re always trying to fix ourselves. And fix
everybody else. And change ourselves. And change everybody else.
And we live in the torture of what it is to be ignorant. And yet at the moment that you come to the
realisation of what conditioning actually is, the tendency is to simply say ‘This is bad’. My first
reaction to understand my open emotional system was “I need a final solution here. I'm going to kill
all the emotional people. Now. Erase them. I do not want ever again to be amplified by emotional
poison’.
But then again, having an undefined emotional system there's nothing sexier than a defined emotional
system. Life would be very boring without that emotionality. But you see the moment that you
recognise what conditioning is, and the moment that you can live as yourself, which is not mental, it’s
mechanical, is the moment that you begin the process of what we’re here for, which is to be wise.
Wisdom.
You are never wise in your definition; it’s too fixed, too limited. When you look at the relationship in a
channel that’s defined, you're looking at a very, very fixed point connected to a very, very fixed point.
It’s a fixed line and all the possibilities are missing. Except one. Fixed. I have a fixed mind. It is
incredibly narrow because it’s fixed. You can bang against this mind and it will just stay fixed. And I
really don’t know naturally about any other kind of mind.
You ask an emotional person who’s tribal what emotions are and they will tell you what their fixed
version of emotionality is. Nothing about the other emotions. They can't. They're fixed. Ah, but take
an open centre, what an open centre gets to experience. I have a totally open Sacral Centre, no
activations. There isn't anything in the Sacral realm that I have not experienced. Every conceivable
variation that’s possible.
I have an open emotional system. My open emotional system has experienced every kind of emotion.
And not just experienced it, experienced it amplified. ‘Here dummy, you can really see what this is.
Let’s amplify it.’.
So when you ask me about emotions, oh, I can tell you about all of them; I'm not fixed there. And you
see when you look at your design and all of that whiteness, what you're looking at is this is where you
go to school in this life. It’s everything that you're here to master. It’s everything that you're here to
learn. It’s everything that you're here to see. It’s not to be avoided. Your definition is the student.
This is your solid perspective upon which you look out into this potential life of learning.

And you can only transcend conditioning – not mental, mechanical – by honouring your strategy.
There is no other way. And remember the reason that that works is that strategy is only about
decision-making. The not-self makes decisions in the open, in the conditioned area.
Think about that. I was making all of those emotional decisions. Not from my emotions. They
weren’t mind. It’s not like that was clear for me. It’s not like I was an emotional person. Not only that
but I was making emotional decisions based on being up and down in a wave that was amplified for
me. My joke about waking up in the morning with my emotional wife. I wake up in the morning and
she's in a bad mood. Boy am I in trouble! I'm in a worse mood. And she says “What's wrong with
you?”. She wakes up in the morning in a good mood, I'm in twice as good a mood and she says
“What are you in such a good mood for?”.
You go mad. When she would get upset with me, wow! The only thing that surprises me in my life is
that I didn’t kill any of them! You want to know what sheer madness is? I get into an argument with
one of my wives and the argument cranks and cranks. She is a 35-36, so this is crisis, emotional
manifesting energy. So you’ve got two Manifestors cranking on emotional energy. And it’s getting
higher and higher and there's a point at which I take my fist and bang it into a door. Right there. A
hole in the door. And in that moment I'm thinking ‘Get out of here’ because you're going to kill her.
I'm in a full-blown rage. It was in Northern Canada, 25 degrees below zero outside. It’s so cold that
when you walk on the ground the sound is so disturbing because the snow is so cold that it squeaks
horribly.
So here I am. Full-blown rage. Out of the house. 2 o’clock in the morning. Frozen everywhere. And
I'm pounding down the street. And all of a sudden I'm singing! Not only am I singing, I'm enjoying it.
And I'm laughing to myself as I'm singing. And there's a little voice in my head that says “Crazy!
You're really nuts”.
You know how many people go through the agony of this? Look at the odds. 50% of humanity,
statistically, is emotional. Half and half. Last night I'm surfing through English television land and
there's a show on abuse in the home. During that one hour programme 60 women were abused in
the home. Violence. Think about what that’s like. I have two young sons. Both of whom are
emotional Generators. I have an undefined Sacral and an undefined emotional system. Now imagine
that either one of my sons gets angry with me and I don’t know what's going on. Their emotional
system cranks me up. Do you have any idea what that leads to? And how easy it is to get there?
I have a little one. I had a real gift in my life, I had a child at 50, it’s something very special. He's four
now. He has six electro-magnetic connections to my emotional system. He hooks up my emotional
system in every conceivable way. He's an emotional atomic bomb. You have never seen a greater
archetype of the terrible two’s than this child. He came in on the Cross of the Laws. Children who
come in on this Cross they fight every rule, every law in their first seven-year cycle. He's a child that's
a 39-55, the Channel of Emoting, the channel of being deaf. Emotionally deaf. In other words if you
say no 8622 times it still has not registered! Now there are moments with him in which that emotional
field going into me, it was so obvious how many of these children have been struck by their parents.
That how much awareness it took in me to recognise that’s it’s his energy cranking me up and I
cannot succumb to that and hit him. And if it weren’t for the awareness I would.
I have friends of mine that are 39-55’s who were so abused as children. What a privilege this little
boy has. Because this is what we have. This world is full of this. 50/50. You want to see violence,
all you have to look at is the emotional system; it’s there all the time. And most of the time the
violence comes out of the undefined because it’s uncontrollable. You know how many teenagers I've
seen that are on the most horrendous drugs because of their so-called ‘emotional problems’? Who
have undefined emotional systems and emotional mothers and fathers? The Prozac world.
You can't really understand that until you experience the conditioning directly, consciously yourself.
It’s the teaching of the planets, the teachers. They give us this consistent teaching programme. It’s
always there. But more important than that, the only way in which you can really begin to come to
grips with what conditioning is for you is to follow it. Follow the programme. It’s one of the great ways
of learning.

If you're interested in seeing what happens to your open centre, wherever that open centre happens
to be and you meet somebody who defines that, you're taking in just more than them in that place.
You take the whole movie. You take all the other connections and this and that. It’s very complex. If
you really want to see what conditioning is, it’s only through the planets, it’s only through the
Ephemeris, it’s only through following the programme that you can actually identify.
When you start looking at the way you're programmed and you start reading the lines in the Rave
I'Ching associated with the conditioning you're receiving on any given day, you'll have something very
interesting satori experiences. You will see that the programme really does operate, and it operates
in a way in which anyone has access to. You can even read it, literally. It’s an astonishing adventure.
The density of ignorance. I've been telling people for 15 years now that there's no choice and they
have a hard time getting that. The density of human vanity is incredible. This vanity that is rooted in
this horrendous fear that lies underneath every human being that they're really not worthy and
therefore can't make it. So they'd better worry a lot about what life is and how to get through it.
Surrender has always been something that was a promise and nothing more. Anybody that goes
through the deconditioning process, anybody that actually lives out the mechanics of their own nature,
you get to a place of surrender. And in getting to that place of surrender you realise that you don’t
have any choice, never had any choice. We are all in that sense helpless and incompetent. It’s one
of the thinks that I enjoy most about my life is that I am helpless and incompetent. It’s not up to me.
I'm not in charge of anything. I'm not responsible for anything. I'm simply a passenger in a vehicle.
Most of that is intellectually interesting to hear, but not necessarily something that you can absorb as
a reality in your process. It is one of the great advantages of the Ephemeris. The moment that you
begin to follow the programme and see the programme’s impact on you, you begin to realise – slowly
and surely – that you don’t have any choice. You begin to realise slowly but surely that you're just
being pulled and pushed through a life. Not your life. A life. We have many; it’s just another one. It’s
a movement.
And at the moment that you actually get into this, you get much more than just a matter of beginning
to understand how this gate in you, or that experience in you is initiated. You actually get an
opportunity to reach a much deeper level of consciousness. You begin to see that truly it is a
programme.
By the way, it’s not my job to illuminate; it’s my job to take you into the form. I'm a form master. To
show you that the vehicle is the life. That the spirit will naturally shine only when the vehicle is
correct. When you're walking around as the not-self, the passenger has no windows to really look out
of; they're dirty and there really isn't anything to see. And it’s really about understanding that at the
moment that you get to a place of surrender you actually get to see what this is for. But more than
that. The moment that you're actually living out your nature, programming becomes something that is
deeply personal and deeply mystical.
There's three ways of looking at a human being. A human being is actually made up of three basic
things. They have a role, they have a character and characteristics. Characteristics are something
that you see in the bodygraph. The character is your profile. And the role is your Cross. Everybody
has a purpose in this life. For me those things are about what The Bard said, it’s a play, anyway. I
call it the movie, let’s update the symbolism.
And think about the nature of the movie and think about what it is to be not-self. A movie has stars.
But no movie can survive without background. Many years ago I was a magazine publisher and I had
taken over a fashion magazine. And I had hired a new photographer because I didn’t like the
photography that was being done. And I went out on the first shoot with this photographer and he
was setting up some shot. And at some point he seemed quite agitated and he yelled at his assistant
‘I need furniture!’. In my naivete, I actually thought that the assistant was going to come back with
sofas and chairs. The assistant brought in three models. I found it very disturbing that this guy called
these three human beings ‘furniture’. And these three models were placed somewhere in the
backdrop of the shot, with the star up front.

If you don’t get to live out your character and your role, if you don’t get to live out the Cross and the
Profile – and you can only live out your Cross and your Profile when you're operating correctly
according to your strategy – then you never get any billing in the movie. You know, at the end of the
movie where they list the names of the people who actually have a life?!
You know those scenes in the café where the boy star and girl star are staring at each other. And in
the background you have all these people who are just sitting there pretending that they have a life.
And you know they don’t. They're just characteristics. They have no character. They have no role.
They're furniture. I've spent the last 15 years of my life trying to teach furniture!
When you wake up in the morning there's only one thing that should be in your head ‘I don’t want to
be furniture. I want to have a life’. And you do not have a life as the not-self. You have the pain of
this life. You have the pain of this plane. You have the suffering of what it is to be ignorant in form.
It’s a horrendous thing.
And out of that we get the nature of the world we live in. Everything about having a part to play is that
you have to come to grips with being yourself. And the only way that you can truly see who you are is
when you begin to truly understand who you are not.
And the planets help. Every day. Every moment. All the time. They're there. And given that we
have so much emptiness within our design, there's so many things to look at. And so many things to
recognise. And more than that. To understand that it’s all impacting on us. That all of that is
affecting us.
For ten years now, I have been doing what are called neutrino forecasts. That is, I've been telling
people about the programme as it’s going to be each month. People can get that in many forms –
audios and transcriptions. To give people a guide of the kinds of general energies that are going to
be present in any given moment.
I call it ‘weather forecasting’ because that’s what it is. It’s like the weather. And it’s one of the things
to recognise about the nature of the weather is that it doesn’t have to interfere with our lives as long
as we’re prepared for it. If you're not prepared for the weather that’s when you’ve got problems with
it. That’s when you end up getting caught in it. That’s when you end up having to waste your time.
That’s when you end up having to defend yourself. And so forth. It’s just weather.
And that’s what the programme is. It’s weather. And there are two things about understanding
yourself and recognising that it’s weather. One is very simple: if you're not following your strategy,
you cannot avoid the conditioning, and in most cases the negative conditioning, of the programme.
Because if you are not following your strategy, then you're still operating out of your not-self
strategies. And so it’s your not-self that’s going to be affected by the transit. And the only way that
you can not be disturbed by the weather is if you're moving through your life as yourself.
And that means making decisions. And, again, this is something that I keep on reiterating. I want to
make sure that you really understand this. Particularly Generators because they're confused by it.
That strategy, mechanical strategy, is only about decision-making. In other words if you're a
Generator, the only time you must absolutely operate out of response is when it comes to making a
decision.
It’s my story about two Generators together. One Generator says “Would you like to go out for
dinner?” and the other one goes “Ah ha”. But the first one that started all of that, that’s not correct in
the sense that that’s not a decision, it wasn’t made in response. It doesn’t mean that the person that
started that actually wants to go out for dinner. It’s not a decision, it’s just what's passing through.
If the person that's just been asked and went “Ah ha” asks the person who just asked them “And you?
Do you want to go out?” then that’s correct. The strangest thing is that so often they’ll go “Uh uh”. It’s
just the way that it works; you can't stop things moving through. It’s one of my favourite lines – we’re
not responsible for what we think or say or do. And, by the way, that’s not philosophy. That’s biology.
It’s just the way that it works.

Something you think was already initiating in the deep grey areas of your brain before it reached your
neo-cortex. You were already thinking it before you knew you were thinking it! Our illusion is that
we’re creative; we are not. We are reactive. And it’s fast. Fast enough that we can claim it’s ours.
But it’s not.
When it comes to strategy it’s about decisions. That means that every time that you make a decision
in your life, if you make that decision according to your strategy, you will live your life as yourself and
you don’t have to pay any damn attention to any of this stuff that I'm going to do today. Go home if
you're going to live your strategy. Because, after all, that's the point. To be yourself. The rest of it is
just interesting.
I don’t care about the transits. Give me a day that I don’t have to work in Human Design I wouldn’t
pay attention to it. I don’t have to. I live as myself. There isn't anything in the programme that is not
for me. It’s all for me.
We’re here to live out our mythology, each and every one of us. That’s what happens when you stop
being furniture, that you get an opportunity to become the character and role that you really are. You
get to see the purpose of why you incarnated here in the first place. And you get to live it out. You
get to live out your uniqueness and your capacity to filter the programme. When you filter the
programme as yourself, you are an archetype. It is the whole point of our consciousness of illusion.
The programme’s not the enemy and more than conditioning is the enemy. It’s the great available
wisdom and it’s so perfect.
I don’t care where the planets are; they're all there for me. They're there for you too! You have to see
that; there's no specialness on this planet. The only difference between me and the world is that I'm
normal and they're furniture. I have a role to play. I am a character in the movie. You're going to see
my name at the end of the films. It will be there for a long time. That’s what it is to live out your
mythology.
And it’s not specialness. This is the greatest claptrap of all! As far as I'm concerned, being awake is
what’s supposed to be normal. You don’t have to go up to the Himalayas and do 8,000 mantras. It’s
not about that. It’s so obviously simple and mechanical. I know how simple it is because I have
children that have never been conditioned. I have children who act as themselves. It’s like dealing
with adults. It’s a lot of dead wood. It’s a lot of furniture that’s never going to be anything else but
extras in a movie. It’s not their fault. Everything is hierarchical. It’s the way it works. There is no
choice. There are geometries, there are fractals. Some people get it, some people don’t.
For me the nicest thing about Human Design is that even if you can't live out your strategy it’s still
going to give you a better life. It’s going to take away certain burdens, it’s going to give you a depth of
understanding. Most importantly it’s going to give you an opportunity to raise your children well.
Going around the wheel, watching all of the patterns, you also get a deep understanding of this
knowledge. Most of the people that really get into the study of Human Design are really into the
opportunity to see what the ancients call the ‘Alla**’. A formula that allows you to see all things. And
all things are there in the genetic matrix of that wheel. All possibilities, everything is there.
Going around the wheel and watching the planets go around the wheel is one of the great studies. It
opens up a whole world. Very complex. Very beautiful programme.
So, let’s deal with some practicals. There have been many variations of Rave Ephemeris over the
last 11 years. This is one I happen to enjoy because it has many things that are important to the
understanding of the way in which cycles operate. It gives you all of the basic information you need.
In other words, it gives you the days, obviously, and all of the planets. The gates they're going into. It
shows you when they change gates. It gives you the various Rave Weeks, that is, how long the
Sun/Earth axis stays in one gate. It gives you all the basic information you need, and it gives you all
of the Crosses that are initiated by the Sun/Earth axis on any day.
So, in other words, it gives you a very efficient map to be able to see what the programming is all
going to look like.

We’ll take a look at examples today that have to do with where we are right now, and the energy
we’re dealing with.
The planets. On any given day what we have is a series of imprints that are taking place. Some of
them are very fast. Some of them take a long time. Personally, if you're really interested in the
investigation, the things that are very important for you are that you have to look at the outer planets
and the nodes of the Moon and the Sun/Earth. Because these are the forces that have the deepest
impact on us in terms of the way in which the transit works.
When I look at a transit at any given moment, I'm looking at three things:
- How does it impact me personally?

- What does it do generally to the world around me?
- Who are these children being born today?
These are the three aspects of a transit. It’s very important to see that that last one will tell you more
about history than anything you can ever imagine. And not the history of the past, but the history of
the future. Because you're going to see in the imprint of any moment a whole generation of human
beings that are going to carry that information for the next 80, 90, 100 years.

So, for example, when you look at a phenomenon like Pluto being now in the 26 gate, and will stay in
that gate for over three years, it means we have a very specific Plutonic generation, a very specific
generation that’s going to carry this frequency, and it’s going to carry this frequency deep into the
future. Because the children born in the next three years – we’re talking about tens of millions – are
going to grow up and mature and they're eventually going to be the dominant generation on the

planet. And they're all going to be carrying Pluto in the 26 gate.

It’s not just about looking today and saying ‘Ok, I have the 44 gate, I don’t have the 26 gate, there's
th
Pluto in the 26 gate. Wow, I’d better pay attention. For the next three years it’s going to change my
life.
But also to understand that not only for the next three years is it going to change your life, but you're
going to end up meeting those forces for the rest of your life. The children of your friends. People
that you're going to meet. They're going to be all around you because the energy is there. And it’s
coming into the world all the time.
The Pluto transit is something very significant. And it’s very much connected to the energy and the
political difficulties of our time. It is about the egoism of spreading the truth. And so we have a time in
which we’re going to have a great binary battle between who actually has the truth and who, in fact,
will control the global tribe. Great struggle.
So we have a generational aspect that we can see. The fact that I look to see how something
impacts others is one of the advantages of this knowledge. If you're somebody who's’ privileged in
your geometry to have access to this kind of information, it also gives you a deep insight into the
world around you. The fact that you know that the 26 is there also tells you that it’s there in
everybody else and they don’t know that. You know, that friend of yours who comes over for dinner
and all of a sudden - ego amplified! Hammering on the table about their truth. Or the truth. And you
look at them and think ‘What's got into them? How come they're suddenly so…’. Pluto in the 26.

And the 26 gate is the great Gate of the Trickster. And lying. The next three years don’t trust
anybody! There's going to be so much lying on this planet. It’s going to be so hard to cut through the
bulls**t to see what's really true. And they’ll be all these ego voices saying “This is the truth”. And
we’re going to have tens of millions of these kids growing up. You think this is a battle that’s going to
be fought in a couple of days and Saddam will be buried and that’ll be the end of the story? We’re
going to have a war of hundreds of years. We've never seen anything like it. A war without borders.
Between us and them.
And the generations that are born are just going to carry the energy.

So seeing what's going on in the world around you, you can be very helpful to some of your friends.
Not to get carried away. It’s like now.

The Nodes of the Moon are in the 20 gate and the 34 gate. The channel 20-34 is the Channel of
Charisma. Sounds good! It’s the channel of “I am busy now. I am busy now. I am busy now”. And
it’s the channel of ‘I don’t know what I'm being busy about. As a matter of fact I have no idea what I'm
busy about. But I'm busy now. I'm not busy for myself, I'm just being busy now. I don’t know what
the hell I'm doing. I'm certainly not doing it for myself, but I'm very busy”. And the whole planet’s got
this. Going to have it for two months.
Now think about it. You’ve got a friend of yours who’s a Projector. And a Projector that is having all
kinds of trouble keeping a job. And they're lying on the sofa. Totally exhausted from trying to be a
Manifestor or a Generator. And all of a sudden this transit comes. Bzzzzzz. They jump up. There's
the want ads. They go rushing out and become a travelling salesperson. Roaring around the
countryside, doing incredibly well – Projectors have their gifts. You know, the boss is happy, they're
happy. Finally they're doing what they want to do and they’ve got the juice. And they get up in the
morning and they're full of energy. Buzzing along.

If you look you can see when they're going to quit!! On Saturday April 12 they're going to wake up
and not a muscle in their body is going to move! As a matter of fact they're going to be so deeply
exhausted that they may go back to sleep for a week. The boss will call Monday morning “Where are
you my star?”. “I quit. I can't do it. I'm exhausted”.
And it’s very depressing. All of a sudden all of that wonderful energy has gone. And they don’t know
why. They don’t know what the f**k the Nodes of the Moon are! They have no idea. And it stops.
And they don’t say “Ah ha. It’s because of this”. They take it deep inside. It’s them again. They
have failed. They are unworthy. They're never going to be able to hold a job.
If you see any of your friends running around like headless chickens like that, let them know it’s just
the programme. And relax. Don’t change your life because of the Nodes of the Moon. You will end
up being severely punished for that.
Conditioning. Think about it right now. Not only are they busy, but they're all busy bushing about
what the truth is. You’ve been following the United Nations, NATO? It’s hilarious. “No. We’re right”.
“No. We’re right. This is the truth”. “Yes, they're there”. “No they're not”. Busy, busy, busy, busy.
And when you see the world around you it gives you advantages. It allows you see what everybody
else is going through. When a form principle comes into the world, it’s lowest common denominator is
black magic. Black magicians actually do. The only advantage they have is that they recognise what
everybody else is going through. If you know how the programme works, if you understand the forces
that are affecting people around you, you're at an enormous advantage. You know what you can
appeal to.
Right now all of those people that are experiencing the 20-34, the 20-34 has a hook. And the hook is
that the 20-34 is always looking for its Svengali. As a matter of fact the only thing that the 20-34 will
ever surrender to is somebody who will guide it to success. So you’ve got a whole planet for the next
couple of months roaring around on 20-34’s. Ohhhh, you can do some heavy manipulating! Think
about it. People who don’t have that energy at all. All of a sudden they’ve got that energy and they
really don’t know what to do with it. They have no idea. The perfect thing you can do with it – send
them off to war! Great energy to fight a war on. And they will. And soon. It’s in the programme.
The most important thing at this point in your process is to see how each and every one of these
forces can impact you. And, yes, it’s interesting to see the generation, and it’s interesting to
understand the general impact of the field to everyone. But specifically what you're looking for are
those things that transform you. So that you can begin to see that, if you're following your strategy
and you're being deeply impacted by the programme, you'll see that the conditioning doesn’t control
your decisions. This is a big step. Please understand that the not-self is ruled by that. The not-self is
always making decisions based on conditioning. Always. They're trying to be what they have never
been able to be consistently. And they always end up making decisions based on that.

But the moment that you're actually experimenting with your strategy, and you see what the
conditioning elements are doing to you, you can actually taste what that’s like. You can feel those
forces trying to pull you into that decision process.

Neptune has been in the 19 gate for quite a while. And I have the 49 gate in an emotional system
as I mentioned, so for the last year for the rest of this year I am emotional. Doesn’t mean anything to
me. Doesn’t make me an emotional person. I'm not making decisions of emotional energy, I'm just
living out my process. As a matter of fact, the only thing that it does is that it actually makes me more
friendly. What to do? You have to live with these things! It gives me this tribal kind of “Well, ok, we
might as well be nice to them”. And I suppose that when Neptune goes away that I will be deeply
relieved and by that time I will be really alone somewhere.
If you could imagine for a moment a not-self person with my configuration, an open emotional system

in the 49 gate, and there's Neptune in the 19 gate. Now the 19 gate is a very needy gate. It’s
territorial. It’s always looking for resources. It’s always looking for somebody that will nurture it. It’s
always looking for a place to fit into in the tribe. It’s always looking for a mate. Now think about what
th th
that’s like for somebody who is not defined emotionally and they’ve got the 49 gate. The 49 gate is
the gate of marriage and divorce. You’ve got all of these people under the pressure of Neptune and
th
the 19 gate getting married, emotionally. It won't last very long once Neptune’s gone. And yet all of
th
those people that are dealing with Neptune now in the 19 gate… You can never know Neptune. It’s
like trying to have a conversation with a ghost. Neptune is a murky thing. The fact is that the
demands of territory and the needs and the resources is all confused.

The 19 gate is the gate of territory. Now I said that I am not impacted by that. But I only mean that
in the sense that by being made emotional by Neptune, doesn’t mean that I become an emotional
being. Doesn’t mean that I'm working with clarity. Doesn’t mean that I'm sleeping on things. Doesn’t
mean that I'm making my decisions emotionally. That’s not what I am. So the emotions are not
dictating what my decision-making process is. But it doesn’t mean it doesn’t have an impact. With

Neptune in the 19 gate, I finally returned to my island. With Neptune in the 19 gate, I found a
house, a piece of territory, that stares over the sea. Neptune. It’s not that it doesn’t have an impact.
It’s not that it doesn’t have something you can't learn from it.
Neptune is very kind to me actually. It helped me go back to a territory that was really dear to my
heart. It brought me a vista the likes of which I've never seen so I can stare and sniff at the sea all
day. Thank you very much. But it didn’t f**k me up. I didn’t get divorced.

You have to understand that somebody with the 49 gate like I am, with an open emotional system
being an Ego Manifestor, what emotions did to me! I either accepted or rejected. If you were nice
emotionally I took you in. If you were lousy emotionally, I threw you out. I didn’t know.
And now I've had this pleasure of Neptune being there, very sweet, I get my tribal trip. And at the
same time Neptune does its little things for me. “Look what I can do for you”, it says.
That’s when the weather is an ally. You see the programme’s always a double-edged sword. I could
have a Neptunian delusionary disaster as the not-self. Or the mystery of Neptune as myself. And all
of that is about being me, living my strategy. All about living your strategy.
So the first thing that you're looking at when you're looking at transits on any given day is that you're
looking to see first of all the impact forces. And when I say impact forces, I'm talking about Pluto,
Neptune, Uranus, the Nodes of the Moon and the Sun/Earth. The other planets are obvious. They
stay for a very long time.
In this Ephemeris is a very good and very important guide for transit work. On page 26 if you have
this book. And you will see that it lists all of the planets and the amount of time it takes the planets to
go round the wheel. And then it breaks it down as to the amount of time in a gate, and the amount of
time in a line. These are averages, obviously. But it gives you an idea that when you're looking at
Uranus outwards, on average it stays 479 days in a gate. That's a long time, over a year. When you
look at Neptune, the average is 940 days. When you look at Pluto, it’s 1415 days. In other words
these are transits that really give you a long time opportunity to check it out.

They're the most dangerous ones for the not-self. They're insidious. They crawl in and they stay for
years. And the not-self assumes that's them – “I've changed. I've had a big change in my life” they
say halfway through those transits. “I no longer do this, I do that. It’s been a big change for me”. And
they ride the wave of that big change as if they did it, which is really hilarious. The vanity of humans.
And then you get to the end of the transit and it’s depression, collapse. The big change fell apart. It’s
all gone. It’s like people want to quit smoking and they have an undefined Ego. And they’ve got the

44 gate and Pluto comes into the 26. And all of a sudden they’ve got this strong willpower Ego. “I
th
will quit”. And they quit. Three years. When Pluto leaves the 26 gate, they're going to smoke again.
What to do?
Transits. They're incredibly powerful. The not-self is overwhelmed by them. The long ones. Ohhh!
They don’t even know it’s there. When the Moon goes by or the inner planets, they don’t stay long
enough for the person to thing that something has really changed. They think something has
happened. They have these momentary incidents. They have a slight difference, but they don’t see
that as a change within themselves. They see it as a by-product of interaction with the people around
them. But these long ones. They immediately take them in as ‘I've go this strong Ego. It changed
overnight’.
The most frightening thing is how transits bring people to be dependent on the wrong forces.
Dependencies that can end up being very serious. It’s like somebody who undervalues themselves.
Anybody with an open Ego. If you have an open ego – and 70% of humanity has an undefined ego –
you're always trying to prove something. So you end up making promises that are deeply unhealthy
for you. You end up committing yourself to things that don’t belong to you. You undervalue yourself.
You don’t think you're good enough and you're constantly trying to prove yourself.
Now, many of these people end up on couches somewhere with psychologists, psychiatrists,
motivators, weirdos. Imagine the case of somebody with an undefined Ego. And they have all these
problems of lack of worthiness. And they're walking down the street one day and there's a very weird
person standing on the street screaming a mantra and saying “I can help you”. And they're
desperate, so they say ok. And they go with them into their salon and this person gives them a
mantra that they have to say 865 times – “It’s going to change your life”.

So they go through this process. Now, at the same time, Pluto goes into the 26 gate. And they
happen to have the 44. So all of a sudden they’ve got a defined Ego. All of a sudden they don’t feel
unworthy anymore. As a matter of fact, they feel really good and strong. “This mantra. It’s the
answer”. They hug this guy. And he says “I need $20,000”. “Yes, sure”. “And while I'm gone will you
sell this in the street?”. “Yes sure”. And the guy is telling everyone “This is the answer. It changed
my life”.
For some people it’s a religious experience. You don’t know if you can really make it. You don’t know
th
if you can really handle it. You're down on your knees praying to Jesus. And Pluto goes into the 26
gate! And Jesus has answered you! You're just full of it now! “I can handle it. I will handle it. The
power of prayer”.
Everybody’s life is full of that at every conceivable level. When you begin to realise how often that
takes place, you see that you're living in one of the great comedy shows of all time! It’s hilarious. And
you can imagine how disturbing and distorting all of that is. It goes on all the time.
You have an undefined Self. A transit comes and it’s going to define your Self. And at the same time
you have somebody who’s trying to tell you who you should be. Poor soul. And it goes on all the
time. Ignorance is a plague.
And you can imagine what happens to the psychology of these beings. They do not know why that
happens. They don’t understand what's going on. They don’t know there's a gate changing. They
don’t recognise that they're in a programme. They actually think that they're in charge of their life.
They think that what they do about anything that’s going on inside of them is them. They assume that
when their Ego gets defined and they're full of all of that that they’ve changed.

Do you know how many people get married this way? Fall in love this way? Have children this way?
How many people get divorced this way? Murder this way? It goes on all the time. It’s better than
any soap opera. It’s the movie.
If you're going to get involved with transit analysis as it impacts you, there's really two things that you
have to have as a background base. You need to have a very superficial understanding of the
planets. If you're an astrologer, do your best to forget everything you ever thought you understood.
Not because you're wrong. It’s that it is a rediscovery process. It’s very important for you to verify for
yourself the thematics that you’ve encountered over the years, or anything that you’ve looked at. See
for yourself what those planets really feel like for you.
This morning before lunch I will give you a brief guide to the planets and when we come back in the
afternoon we will focus on the other half of what's necessary. That is that you have to understand the
wheel, you have to understand gates and you have to understand channels. In other words you really
have to be involved in understanding the nature of the bodygraph. One of the things that helps you
with transits is that when you do see a transit that's impacting on you, and you see a planet in a
specific gate, it forces you to investigate that gate anyway. And it gives you a basic guide as to how
to interpret the energy that is going to be impacting on you.
And if that transit lasts long enough you have an opportunity to see what that gate really is. Far
beyond whatever you may find in the literature or on CD, your own interpretation of it. In other words
to see how you, in your uniqueness, operate in the programme. And, again, this is really the whole
point for all of us, to see how we integrate to the programme because it’s a transforming agent in our
lives.
The planets. When you look at this Ephemeris you can see that this Ephemeris is ruled by the
Sun/Earth. And what I mean by that is that it’s the Sun/Earth that sets the whole pattern. The first
thing to recognise is that we have what's called ‘Rave Weeks’ – the different colouring here – and
basically what that means is the amount of time that it takes the Sun/Earth to move through a
hexagram. It takes 5.7 days. Approximately a day per line, 0.95 of a day per line. So every six days
you have a change of the fundamental programming.
Remember that the Sun/Earth is responsible for 70% of our programming. That’s a huge amount.
And the thing to recognise about that programming – and that it’s something that we will look at this
afternoon – is that the Sun/Earth, because it is a polarity, carries a polarised value. That is that the
Sun is a programming agent whereas the Earth grounds that programming into form.
And when you're dealing with the Sun/Earth, you're dealing with 70% of the programming that’s taking
place. So the Sun/Earth, obviously, becomes very important. More important than simply just the fact
that the Sun/Earth is programming us, is to recognise that when you're dealing with polarisation, what

you're dealing with is the sameness of line aspects. In other words, when the Sun is in the 1 line, the
st
Earth is in the 1 line.
Yesterday I was joking that yesterday was a 1/3 day and that we were going to have difficulties. You

do. Murphy’s Law. 3 lines will bring that. And I've given courses on how to understand each line as
a day. For example:

1 line days you study.

2 line days you have a very natural time. You just retreat, you enjoy yourself, you do what you like.

3 line days are discovery days. But they're great days to make money. But be careful because
rd
things are going to bump into you on a 3 line day. Things are going to go wrong. But remember that
can always bring advantages.

4 line days are for being influential. For meeting with friends.
th
5 line days are for meeting with strangers.
th
6 line days are all about understanding how you can function correctly.
They're just days. Just numbers. Patterns. The Sun/Earth pattern is very important. This is the year.
And the thing to recognise, if you look at January, you will see that the New Rave Year is listed. The

New Rave Year occurs when the Sun moves into the 41 gate in Aquarius. The 41 gate in its

relationship to our codon chemistry, our genetic chemistry, it’s the only start codon. In other words all
st
cycles begin with the 41 gate.

So, for example, when the Sun comes to the 41 gate you have a new Solar Cycle, a new year. But
st st
when Mercury comes to the 41 gate you have a new Mercurial cycle as well. In other words, the 41
gate is a starting place. So, particularly in terms of the way in which we have ritualised the calendar
New Year in the West is to understand that if you look at the Ephemeris and you see at the very
beginning of January the Sun/Earth are in the two most provocative gates. So you’ve got fighting and
provocation.
If you see what New Year really is, you'll begin to see that until you get to limitation, the Year doesn’t

end. Until you get to the Sun/Earth entering into the 60 gate and the 56 gate. If you make New
st
Year’s resolution on January 1 , it’s going to fall apart before you get to this point.
It’s very important to see that this is all about understanding that you have to complete cycles
st
consciously. The New Year begins with the Sun in the 41 gate and it is the Cross of the
Unexpected. Every year starts with the Cross of the Unexpected. We are a mutative specie. We are
evolving. This is part of understanding the way in which cycles develop.
So the Sun/Earth has a very important value for us. And whenever you're looking at transits, you
have to see that looking at the Sun/Earth what you're looking at is that you're going through very tight
cycles. Every six days. And every six days there is a changing mechanism. Everybody’s got that
‘flavour’. Again, being able to see the flavour that’s out there around you. But also important to see
that when the Sun/Earth impacts your design, it does not have the same impact as Pluto, Neptune,
Uranus or the Nodes of the Moon. It’s very powerful, but it never feels like this is really you. It’s
another week with another kind of funny energy, whatever that happens to be.
And this is something that later in this series of lectures I will show how you actually analyse transits.
In other words, there are ways to see the impact of any kind of transit depending on how it connects
to you. The Sun/Earth is simply important to understand the frequency that we move through. Again,
I'm going to do a whole journey around the wheel and point out how that year is actually structured.
In other words the kinds of forces that you actually go through as a cyclical process.
But the Sun/Earth is instrumental in the programming of everyone. So what you will see is that –
depending on where the Sun/Earth is – you have certain seasons that are very personal for you. For

me in my open emotional system I have the 12 gate that points at it. So the 22 gate here in Pisces
is going to trigger my emotional system.

I have the 40 gate in the Ego, I don’t have the 37. The 37 gate in Pisces is going to trigger my
emotional system.
th th
I have the 49 gate. The 19 gate is going to trigger my emotional system.
st th th
I have the 41 gate. The 30 gate - also in Aquarius like the 19 gate – is going to impact my
emotional system.
So any movement that begins here, that moves from the 19 to the 30 to the 37 to the 22, this is my
‘emotional season’. Now some of you have ‘Ajna seasons’, ‘G Centre seasons’, ‘Splenic seasons’,
‘Ego seasons’. As you look at the wheel in the sense of ‘Are there any times of the year where a
whole series in a row are going to activate different things in me?’, you begin to see your own
relationship to the Solar Cycle. And that’s what's important.
And remember when I say Solar Cycle, I'm talking about the polarity. In other words, you're watching
the Sun/Earth configuration as it moves. You'll notice as well - this Ephemeris is very handy – is that
one of the things to recognise is that because we’re dealing with a Sun/Earth phenomenon, that every
six months the Sun/Earth activate exactly the opposite gates. So each half year, the Sun will be in
one gate and half a year later the Earth will be in that same gate. And basically what that means is
that there are actually two programmes. There's a solar-dominated programme and an Earth-
dominated programme. And months that are six months apart have a special relationship to each

other because they're mirrors to each other. So you can see in this example that January and July
are mirrors to each other.
It can also help you understand your seasons by understanding that there is this polarity that is built
into the way we’re programmed. Everything about this knowledge is dualistic. The programme’s
dualistic. You get the light (the Sun) and the shadow (the Earth). You get the yin-yang and you get
the yin-yang rotating.
So you have two sides of that story. I had the same thing happen to me in August that happens in
February. In other words in February I have my Solar emotional season and six months later I have
my Earth emotional season. And they're different! What the Sun does to me in February, the Earth
grounds for me later in August. In other words this is an ongoing process.
Remember that it is a wheel, but it’s a wheel moving in space. A spiral. And as you're moving
through the cycle, each cycle is transforming. But it’s always a binary.
The planets. This afternoon when we look at the gate applications, I’ll talk about how you interpret
planets in gates. I will give you a key as to how to do that.
Pluto
But the first thing is to have a simple value for the planets. And I want to start with what's furthest
away from us. Pluto. And the value that I'm going to give to Pluto is not simply the value of Pluto as it
transits, but recognise that you have two Pluto’s within you. You have Personality and a Design
Pluto. You have a Pluto that you identify with and you have a Pluto that is a mystery to you. That is
part of the unconscious, that you have no direct access to.
Now in many cases because of the movement of Pluto - because it’s slow - people will have Pluto in
the same line for both personality and design. And some people, because of cusp positions, will
actually have their Pluto’s in different lines, which is quite unusual.
In the simplest language, Pluto is about truth. And when I say truth, I'm talking about the subjective
truth of what you are as yourself. In other words, what is the truth for you. And, after all, the moment
that you are living out your authority and operating correctly as yourself, no other truth matters.
Again, this is about individual human rights, not political rights. The individual human right to be your
own authority. And to be your own authority because you're acting correctly as yourself.
Truth. When you look at the Pluto’s in your chart, what it’s saying to you is that that is where the truth
is for you in this life. It’s very simple. That’s the truth that is here for you to discover. Obviously, the
transit in Pluto is different in the sense that it is not personal truth – unless it happens to be your birth
– it is the truth that is there that all of us must look at in that time. We know that Pluto is going to be in
that gate approximately three years. So for three years we’re pointed at the subject of truth.

When Pluto was recently in the 5 gate, the gate of patterns, we had the release of the human
th
genome. We had the truth as to what the pattern was revealed for us. Now we have Pluto in the 26
gate so we have this great binary – it’s always a duality – struggle for truth. Who does have the truth?
Who is speaking the truth. And regardless of the fact that the gate has its own values, we can see
that the truth now will be manipulated. People will be tricky with the truth. People will try to fool us
with their truth. But the essence is truth.
Neptune
When you're dealing with Pluto and Neptune you're dealing with cycles that are beyond a human life.
And so, for me, Pluto and Neptune are incarnative principles. In other words, they are processes that

are multi-generational. Particularly in the case of Pluto. You can see that the truth in terms of the 26
gate will only be truly fought out as a battle by the generation born with it. And that it will only be the
reflection of history long after those battles have been fought. It will be only that reflection of history
that will look towards what the essential truth was. It’s a long road in that sense. It is Plutonic. It is
trans-generational. It is incarnative.

Same thing is true for Neptune. It’s over 160 years that cycle. It’s one of the things for you to
understand about the other planets. If you go to the Channel of Initiation – the 51-25 – and you look
at the lines of those two gates, wherever you see Pluto as an aspect, either exalted or detriment,
recognise that that’s not true. It has no function whatsoever. It’s not there.
Pluto hasn’t been in Aries for hundreds of years. There is no-one alive that carries the imprint of Pluto

in either the 51 or the 25 gate. The last time it existed is when the 3 republic of Brazil was
created, 180 years ago.
It’s very interesting. I have a line in the 25 that is the heaviest of all lines. It’s about crime, suicide,
violence. It’s a Pluto aspect. And it doesn’t exist. There's only the exalted. There is no detriment.
The same thing is true for many Neptunian lines. Imagine somebody who was born today with

Neptune in the 19 gate. That vibration of Neptune in the 19 gate, the validity of any Neptunian
th
aspect of the 19 gate, that will survive as long as there is life on earth that has that imprint. And the
moment that the last person dies, the imprint is gone. There are Neptunian aspects right now in the
wheel that have absolutely no function and don’t exist because there's no living imprint in the world.
So these are trans-generational incarnative forces. It’s not like you're ever really going to master the
truth in your lifetime. It’s not like the truth that’s in your chart is something that you actually are going
to come to full grips with in your lifetime. It’s a process.
And the same thing with Neptune. I have no illusions about figuring Neptune out. What I love most
about Neptune is that for me it is very simple – Neptune veils. I like this word. The seven veils.
I was born with a totally unconscious mind. So I never had access to my intelligence. I never had

access to anything that’s going on in this mind of mine. I also have the 48 gate twice, the gate of
depth. Guess who’s there? Neptune. I don’t know how deep I am. I have no idea. And Neptune
loves to bring you to good whisky and sweet drugs! Anything to try to get through that damn veil.
Anything to try to find out what's there. I could never find out. Neptune won't let you in.
And the moment that you have a problem with that, you have a problem. It’s just what it is. The
mystery of Neptune is not here to be solved. It’s here to be experienced with wonder. Neptune is the
only truly magical force you meet all the time. And when you see Neptune in your chart, and you see
what it’s veiling, that’s where your mysteries are. That’s where your magic is. Don’t go looking for it;
we’re not Hobbits.
Be yourself. And the mysteries are revealed. And they’ll be revealed specifically in those places.
And you never get to know what the hell it is. It doesn’t matter. So many people where truth is veiled,
where the mystery is veiled, how profoundly confused and depressed they are about their lives. How
easy it is for them to get lost in whatever. Not just drugs, alcohol, sex, violence and madness –
anything.
I like Neptune. By the way, if you have Neptune conjunct a planet – in other words if your Neptune is
standing beside something in a gate – it’s also veiling that other object.
Uranus
There's a classic generalisation for Uranus which is ‘unusualness’. But there's something very special
in all that. It does have enormous power in our lives.
I don’t know if you know the history of this planet; it’s very strange. It rotates backwards, like Venus,
the only two planets rotating on their own axis backwards. There was a cataclysmic event that took
place, scientists and astronomers figure, about 2.5 billion years ago, in the outer reaches of our solar
system. It’s probably the thing that pushed Pluto and Charon, its Moon, out into the position where it
is. And thus defining them as planets which they're not; they're just big ice balls and rocks.
It also created most of the moons of Uranus. Uranus was hit by something. A very common
occurrence by the way. And it was hit so hard that it was knocked on its axis. It was totally knocked
on its side.

And the magnetic field of Uranus, because of that, is a magnetic field that whips, in big loops, all the
way around the solar system. If you could see Uranus’s magnetic field as light, you would never see
another star in the sky. It’s all around us.
If you look at the moons of Uranus, one of them looks like three different pieces of material glued
together. And that's precisely what it is. That cataclysm created an enormous burst of light and it’s
my deepest feeling about the nature of Uranus. Uranus for me is like Prometheus, it brings you that
chance to see the light. That is its unusualness. It opens up this potential for light.
It’s funny that I have my Uranus in the line of The Hermit. For me, anyway. ‘Hide your light, baby.
It’s the time of form’.

Look at the Uranus’s in your design. And look at Uranus now! Uranus is in the 30 gate of the fates.
The fates are here, now, in all of us. At work. Stringing out the thread. Measuring it. Cutting it. The
fates are at work in the world now. There's a lot of strings going to be cut.
Only out of darkness comes light; everybody forgets that. It’s the whole secret of form. It’s the nature
of the Big Bang. Light emerged out of darkness. And it still does. It emerges out of darkness in us.
The moment that our form is correct, the light is there. It emerges out of darkness on the mundane
plane. This is a savage planet populated by killer monkeys. And darkness is something we’re very
good at.
This is the battle of light. And, as you can tell, everybody’s claiming that they're the light and the other
is the darkness.
There's a saying I like very much “Good news? Bad news? Who knows?”. When you have Uranus in
the fates, you have an instrument of light in the fates. But you have to recognise that no matter what
happens to you in your life now, every time you meet an obstacle is your opportunity for light. Every
time there's something that gets in the way of your expectation, there's an opportunity for light. That’s
th
the magic of Uranus in the 30 gate. And because that’s the way it works, it does mean that you
meet this. In other words, the game is at play. So you get these things that get in the way of your
expectation and how you respond to that, how you deal with that, is going to be a measurement of the
amount of light that you get from it all.
If you are yourself, and you enter into things correctly, it doesn’t matter what happens. And if you're
living your nature as yourself, and the fates get in the way it doesn’t matter. And at the moment it
does not matter, there's light everywhere.
As I said, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are very powerful forces in our programming because they stay
in gates for a considerable length of time. To see where they are in relationship to your design is very
important. But also for you to see the values in these planets within your design itself. To understand
where the light can emerge in you. You can be clear about that. That no matter how intellectually
you are competent in being able to grasp all of this, there is no way that any mind can compensate,
control and work with the programme. You can only do that mechanically.
The fact that you see that Uranus is there in this gate in your design doesn’t mean that you can pull
the light out. You can only be yourself. You can be yourself and you can wait for it to emerge. The
beautiful thing is that you get to see it. You have to have the experience.
Jupiter
Now we come to the giants, Saturn and Jupiter. First of all, for me Jupiter and Venus cannot be
separated from each other. They have a very profound relationship to each other. Jupiter in the
simplest language is the great lawgiver. Jupiter is Moses carving the word into stone. It’s Jupiter that
lays down the law. It’s Jupiter that is the king of kings. It is the lord.
And so in that sense when you look at Jupiter in your design, what you're looking at is your law. And
only when you can live out your law are you going to feel correct. And you will receive the

beneficence of Jupiter. You see, Jupiter is a binary. Jupiter can bulls**t you into hell or it can make
you enormously rich in spirit and material. It’s a double-edged sword. And that sword is whether you
honour your law. What the hell does that mean, ‘honour your law’? If you look at the gates that you
have where Jupiter is, you can see what the heart of that law is. Yet to honour your law is only about
being yourself; you cannot be incorrect to your own laws if you are honouring what it is to be you. If
you're following your strategy, the truth of your law emerges.
Venus
Venus establishes values. But Venus is cool in the establishment of values. Long before a law can
be written in stone, it had to grow out of cultural values. The commandments that were carved into
stone were already cultural values that had been established. They had been established by Venus.
In fact, Venus is where your morality is. Venus is the heart of your prejudice. The core of your
deception. Your deviousness. Your hypocrisy. Your cruelty.
When I look at Venus I see that this is the moral conditioning element. And when you see where
Venus is in your design you can see those mores that most deeply impact you where your morality is.
Once that morality is correct, then it can be embodied in law. This is the relationship between the
Venus and the Jupiter in your design. It’s an ancient relationship. The Babylonians understood. In
Babylonian astrology, how incredible the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter. This is the embodiment of
the way to the ancient mind. That is the true moral law.
And so whenever you see Venus and Jupiter in the wheel, they are working in concert together.
Venus is there focusing on the issue of the moral question. Where is the moral question? What is the
issue? And Jupiter waiting to establish this as a rule, as a law.
What is so interesting for me is that if you don’t live the moral truth of what you are, and if you do not
honour the law, where you are punished is where Saturn is.
Saturn
I love Saturn. Tough old bird. Because if you're clean Saturn is so wonderful. It doesn’t praise you.
It doesn’t pat you on the head. It leaves you alone. There is no greater reward than being left alone
by Saturn!
Look at your design and look at where your Saturns are. No matter what you do that’s incorrect in
your life, no matter where you do it, you end up being punished where you're Saturns are. Over and
over again. If you really want to see how life punishes you as the not-self, all you have to do is look at
those two positions of Saturn and they will tell you where you pay the price for ignorance.
I guess it gives Saturn this bad reputation. It’s the pain and the suffering in our lives. But it’s the pain
and suffering of a spanking, it’s not the pain and suffering of a nailing on the cross. Saturn is not the
reaper or a sadist. It is a punishing parent. It keeps on punishing you. And where Saturn punishes
you doesn’t kill you. It just hurts.
So you wake up and stop being punished. It’s an incredible planet. And as you see it move in the
wheel, you can see where all of us are at risk at any time.

What are the risks today? What kind of trouble are you in? Saturn is in the 45 gate. If you're not
th
correct you're going to get punished materially. But Saturn’s in the 6 line – The Outsider. Ohhh.
Outsiders can get punished! It depends on which side you're on and who’s the outsider. And if the
planet isn't acting correctly then outsiders will have to be punished.
It never ceases to amaze me how cruel the programme is to the ignorant. And the ignorance the
planet. I have a deep resource of information. I can feel the 40,000 babies that die every hour. The
planet of suffering. 2 billion people living on less than a euro a day. What a place.
When Saturn is sitting in the 45.6, you can see where the punishment’s going to be. If the planet
doesn’t operate correctly Saturn is always punishing the planet. For Jews, you don’t move on
Saturn’s day! You just pray until it passes. The ancient Jewish god, Yahweh, solemn and heavy. “I

will punish you from generation to generation to generation. And I will punish the sins of the father
going all the way down the line”.
And, oh is it true! Saturn does nothing but punish. It doesn’t ignore the planet. The planet doesn’t
operate correctly. And as long as Saturn is in the 45, the material plane is going to suffer. Stock
markets. Famines. There's so many ways that you can see that operating.
When you come to a point where you actually begin to experiment with your strategy you begin to
understand something – we’re not here to suffer. The greatest test for me is whenever Saturn
touches anything in my design, it’s like ‘Yes, ok. Everything is all right’. It’s an extraordinary ally. It
brings enormous peace. There's only one planet that denies you peace, peace of mind, peace within
– Saturn. It keeps on hammering away. And you can't bulls**t it. And you can't pretend. You can't
hide. It takes a wall 10,000 light years thick, made of lead, to slow down a neutrino, you're not going
to hide from Saturn.
But you don’t have to be punished; you don’t have to suffer. And it is a matter of living out your
strategy, it isn't anything else. It’s very simple. It’s very mechanical.
Mars
Mars for me will always be a 14-year-old boy. It’s a very immature energy. But saying that it’s
immature isn't to say that it’s not powerful. Whenever I look at my Mars’s I have to laugh because it’s
so hysterically true of my nature. And that those are the two places within me that I'm incredibly
th nd
immature. I have Mars in the 40 gate, Gate of Denial. 2 line. I'm one of the most immature
deniers of anything.

I have Mars, Pluto and Saturn in the 7 gate and I have Mars in the 6 line of The Administrator. You
have never seen a more immature administrator than me! But I like the energy; it’s juicy. It’s full of
life. It’s got a real spark. And wherever your Mars is, that’s an aspect that once you're correct it
brings the fountain of youth into your life. It refreshes you.
The very immaturity that forced me to deny access for others to me is the very thing that actually
energises me in my life. My having contact with you. My whole business of being an immature
administrator is that in being correct in my life I've been able to do a surprisingly juicy job of having fun
in administering. It all works out ok.
When you're not acting as yourself that very immaturity that can be very sweet – the sweetness of a
teenage boy – can also be very violent. Very ugly. It can overreact. Each of the planets brings a
boon and a curse; because everything is a duality. And you have to see that the only way in which
you triumph over that is the mechanics.
Imagine what it would be like if you had to figure out mentally how to deal with all of these activations
hitting all of these various places in you and it’s happening all the time, and it’s changing all the time
and you’ve got other people stepping into your life, and so on. You can't do that. You can't. In fact if
I actually had the time it would take me more time to do somebody’s reading than their life would
permit! I would be doing it and we would be getting old together. It would go on and on. There is so
much information. There's just no way.
The beauty of all of this is it’s wonderful to be able to see the structure. But you only begin to be one
with the structure as yourself and it’s just mechanical. And then you don’t have to intellectually grasp
what all of these things are, you live them. You breathe them. You are them.
And you begin to see that what you are is quite amusing. That is the sum total, the whole that’s
greater than the sum of the part of the conditioning and imprinting of all of those planets. It’s us. This
illusion of our differentiation is the whole that’s greater than the sum of the parts of all that
programming. It’s just us.
And the moment you're living correctly as yourself, the way you're designed, the way you move
through the world is without resistance. And that when you are living according to your authority, you
find your character. That’s your profile. You begin to live that character. You become the

investigative martyr. You become the hermit opportunist. You become all those things. You get your
part in the movie. You stop being furniture. You're suddenly living out your part.
I'm a heretical investigator. I came in on the Cross of the Clarion. So this is what I do. I blow the
horn of heresy. Based on investigation. That's my theme in the movie. I've got this character, I'm a
5/1. And I have this role; I've got to be a Clarion.
And the rest of it is just characteristics. I happen to be a single definition Ego Manifestor. But you
don’t have to be a single definition Ego Manifestor to be a 5/1 on the Cross of the Clarion. There are
many variations. There's 780 million 5/1’s. There's a lot of them and most of them are furniture.
They have no character, they have no role. You get no access to your character and role until you're
living as yourself. You don’t.
By the way, character and role without characteristics is god! Or godly creatures. It’s Buddha the
Enlightened. It’s Jesus the Saviour. Just character and role. God the Almighty.
And the moment that you stop being furniture, that you stop being just characteristics, what happens
to you is that you take on your godliness. That sounds spiritual! You take on your godliness. You
finally have a life. Your life. And the moment that you take on your character and your role, you get
to live out your mythology. We are all mythology. That’s not poetics. It’s mechanically true. There
are over 60,000 incarnation crosses. There are all these archetypes that are here on this planet. And
that they are here as archetypes of the most ancient forces. We’re all fractals of that.
Yet each of us in our uniqueness is indispensable. Each of us in our uniqueness carry the
responsibility of being consciousness in form. And being a unique aspect of consciousness in form.
It’s the whole movie; it’s what it’s all about.
And at the moment that you live out your nature, that resistance and all the stuff that’s out there
doesn’t matter. It only matters when you're ignorant. It’s a way out of the darkness. You begin to
learn. You begin to investigate.
You see, when you have your own authority, there's no measurement anymore. What's to measure?
Human beings spend their whole life saying ‘I wish I could be this…’ or ‘I wish I could be that …’.
They look in the mirror and they're not happy. Their whole life has been conditioned to change –
smarter, faster, prettier. It’s only because the not-self is not correct. So the not-self tries to change
the not-self. Furniture repair! Re-upholstery! That’s all it is; doesn’t change anything.
What a joke – the not-self trying to be a better not-self! That’s most of the planet. No wonder Saturn
never gets a break. I feel for Saturn. Hammer, hammer, hammer all the time.
Mercury
The messenger of the gods. The great communicator. The essence of what we have to
communicate. This is what Mercury is. Each of us has something very special that we are here to
communicate to the other. And you find that where your Mercury’s are. It’s very simple.
And yet to see in that simplicity the beauty of all of us. We each have something very special to
communicate to the other in this life. And you're not going to do that correctly unless you're correct.
And then a great suffering in your life is not being able to communicate the essence of what you're
here to communicate. How depressing that is.
The Moon
The beauty of design cosmology is a recognition of the primary yin forces which was very confused by
astrology. Most of the yin principles had to be placed on the Moon. Within design, because we have
the presence of the Earth, we have the presence of the true mother, in that sense. The Moon is the
eldest daughter, Venus is the youngest daughter. When you look at the Moon you look at – in the
Chinese tradition of the I’Ching - the incredible responsibilities of the eldest daughter.

The Moon drives us all; it’s the great driver. It’s the great force that pushes us. And the magic of the
Moon is that over and over again – a magic that Reflectors are beginning to discover – it provides us
with the opportunity of illumination. It is always moving from darkness to light. It is always taking us
through a complete cycle. That cycle is so profound that most of the calendars of the ancient world
bowed down to it. In deference to it. As opposed to the solar calendar.
The Moon is a powerful force in your life. If you want to see what drives you, what pushes you, look
to see where the Moon is in your design. And you will see very quickly the forces that are pushing
you. Where you are being driven.
But, remember something. It’s not about being in the sense that you're a helpless victim, throttled
along in terms of the Moon. The Moon is pushing you towards illumination. Lunar month after lunar
month. That’s its programme. And you can see in those places where the Moon is in your design is
that you have an endless opportunity for illumination. And to see where your illumination and what
your illumination is all about.
The Nodes of the Moon
That leaves us with the Nodes of the Moon. They're very special. They're not objects. In other words
they are not ‘translating instruments’ or better they are not ‘interfering instruments’. I love that saying
from the ancients that Blavatsky quoted that “All the planets are instruments of darkness because
they interfere with the light”.
And in essence she was right. It’s true, after all. Remember that we get 70% of our neutrinos from
the Sun. But we get 30% of our neutrinos spread out over the star field as it interacts with our
planetary solar system. The neutrinos that are going through Mars that we receive as Martian
information are being filtered or interfered with by Mars. We already know that neutrinos will oscillate
as they move through a solid object. In other words they are changing as they move through.
Information transfer is taking place. Those neutrinos coming from the star field behind Mars are being
translated by Mars and we get it as a Martian impact. If you take Mars out of the way, we can all sing
Joni Mitchell songs together – “We are stardust ….”.
Now, we’re not totally denied that process. Remember that within this context the solar system is a
cell. It’s our solar cell, if you will. And at the heart of the solar cell is our DNA programming. In the
sense that we have this programming of what our solar system is all about. Yet there is no way that a
cell can live isolated and alone. In other words that our cell has a relationship to other cells in the
same way that our solar system has a relationship to the galaxy that we are in. That our galaxy has a
relationship to its quadrant in space. And that quadrant …. and so on.
So one of the things to recognise about the Nodes of the Moon is that they are portals; they're like
windows. And those windows are focused on a specific star field bringing in neutrino information. In
the coming years in my April events in Ibiza, I will be doing courses of specific stars throughout the
wheel. And the importance of these stars throughout the historical movement. The stars as a
background. They move as well. The value of a gate today was different 5,000 years ago. The
background programme is changing to.
So when you have the Nodes of the Moon you have this incredible portal, that it’s a direct connection
beyond this cell.
For those of you that are interested in stars and you know the position of your Nodes, you can go
online and go to any of the star registries and find out what stars are in that quadrant of space. Now
many stars have legends and stories about them and it’s fascinating to read them. You have no
planetary reference with the Nodes, the Nodes have no value. I mean they have no value in the
sense of what's been programmed. The value they have for us is that they divide life, we know that.
We know that the South Node is the first half of the life and the North Node is the second half of the
life. This is the result of the Uranian cycle of our nine-centred being.
But the actual value of the information that’s coming through, this is coming from the outside. In many
ways it’s your real connection to the cosmic forces rather than our localised ‘gods’. This is a chance
to reach out into other forces, powerful forces, that are out there. And it’s just information.

In 1987 when I had my experience there was an incredible event in Chile. It was the first time in
human history that a supernova was seen with the naked eye. It’s called 1987A. And a supernova is
simply a very dramatic death – like Princess Di! It throws out an enormous amount of information that
everybody hooks to.
So when 1987A blew up everybody on Earth received three times as many neutrinos as normal.
Now, look. Three trillion – that's three million million – neutrinos per second going through this space.
And they're all matter. Three trillion per second through this space, all spaces, everywhere. And in
that death of that star, three times that – 9 trillion neutrinos per second for 14 minutes. Everybody on
the planet got the last words of that star, Sanduleak. Long dead now. Last words. Programming.
Neutrino information.
So when you're looking at your Nodes you're looking at a magical portal. You're looking at a portal
that links you to the whole, that links you to the totality. So, in that sense, it has great beauty. In your
chart it’s quite different. Because what it’s doing is imprinting what are going to be the thematics of
your life movement. The Nodes of the Moon represent the track that you go down in this life. They
represent the road that you're going to take.
And so they become very important for us to look at in that context. But I want you to understand the
underlying value of them – that you have a connection for us that is trans-cellular. It opens us up to
the influence of very profound and complex cosmic information.
Afternoon Session
I want to give you a sense this afternoon of how you can look at specific activations and begin to
process precisely what that means.
Obviously you have planetary values. I don’t want to make this too complex, but anyone who’s paid
any attention to the Rave I'Ching knows that for every hexagram and its six lines that almost all of
those six lines are binaries. And in those binaries you have certain planets that are mentioned as
exalted or detriment. And these are fixing agencies. In other words if the planet that’s mentioned
happens to be in that place or happens to be part of the definition on the other side in the channel, the
gate that’s opposite, that you get this activation that is imprinted specifically.
There are many different variations of information that you can discover with transits but for the
purposes of the nature of this course today I'm going to keep it simple. Let’s look at the basic concept
of a planet, and what that planet means within the generalisation of any gate that it enters into.
To begin with everything is about looking at where the Sun/Earth axis. And when you're looking at the

Sun/Earth in this context, what we’re dealing with is that the Sun is now in the 55 gate, over here,
th
and if you go all the way across the wheel you come to the 59 gate on the other side which is where
the Earth is.
So when you're looking at the positioning of the Sun/Earth, one of the first things you're looking at is -
does the activation of either that Sun or that Earth or both make a difference in your design? If you're

dealing with the 55 gate it would mean that you're somebody that has the 39 gate and if you have
th th
the 39 gate, which is a gate in Cancer, and you don’t have the 55 gate this is a Rave week that has

impact on you. Because the 55 gate is going to be there.

On the other end of that - the Earth in the 59 gate – if you're somebody that has the 6 gate, the
emotional system in the Channel of Intimacy, and you don’t have the 59, this is a week in which you
could become pregnant, or be a part of becoming pregnant.
In other words you have certain things that can take place and your attention is not specifically to the
gate you have. What you're looking for is activations that are going to give you definition where you
do not have definition. This is the primary thing that you're looking for.

Let’s talk about that for a moment. When you look at human characteristics, that is when you look at
the bodygraph, there are many configurations. Most of the configurations are what we call ‘split
definitions’. A split definition is when you have two areas of definition in your design but they're not
connected to each other. And we have split definition, triple split and quadruple split definitions.
Now something to understand about the vast majority of humanity who have splits is that the deepest
conditioning in your life is the thing that will bridge your split. You will not have a lover, you will not
accept a friend, you will not be comfortable with a colleague, unless they bridge your split. And any
time you're in a relationship in which there is a split that is not bridged, that’s an aspect that’s never
part of the relationship and always feels uncomfortable.
So let’s take the example that you're somebody that has a split definition and that the position of the

Sun today in the 55 gate will make a difference to you. Let’s say that you're somebody that has the
Sacral connected to the Root. And the other part of you is your emotions connected to the Ego, but
these two definitions don’t reach each other. You're going to spend your whole life trying to be whole.
And that process of being whole, that you're always trying to find the bridge. Always.
So there you are with your dangling 39 and it’s always looking for that bridge over there that’s going to
link it all together. And all of a sudden you're going to feel ‘whole’. And if we were to take it to a

sophisticated level of analysis, we could point to that 55 gate and say your whole life is about finding
your spirit. And that’s not who you are. And while you're spending your whole life trying to find spirit,
which is not who you are, you miss out on what's really there for you. Period.
So, look. Here's somebody with the 39 and the 55 comes along, the Sun goes in there, 70%
programming, what do you have? All of a sudden not only do you have a linking of that split
definition, but you have that linking through the Channel of Emoting. So if you're a 39 and you don’t
have the 55, this is a week for you to be emotional. It’s an emotional week.
It may be a week that makes you sick to your stomach so you don’t want to eat. It may be week in
which you eat so much that you can barely eat when the week is over. It may be a week in which you
pine deeply for romance that doesn’t seem to be there. Or that you pine for any kind of love of
anything that isn't there. That you wake up in the morning and you feel like life is half-full or half-
empty.

This is what the 55 gate brings to us. And more than that it brings deep indecisiveness. All
individuality - because individuality is mutative – leads on the mundane plane to what we call
indecisiveness. You don’t know until you know.
So imagine what happens to all of those 39’s the moment that the Sun is in 55. And their lover says
to them “Do you love me?”. Oh boy! “I don’t know”. “What do you mean, you don’t know?”. “And
don’t crank me up. You crank me up so I can't even eat my dinner”. The great channel of eating
th
disorders, the 39-55. Anorexia. Bulimia. The channel of deep melancholy. 55 gate, deep
emotional melancholy.
So this is a week in which a lot of people are going to be depressed. A lot of people are going to be
very melancholic. A lot of people are going to be emoting.
Now think about you. If you're the 39 and you don’t have the 55. There's something for you to
discover. You'll see what that’s like. You'll begin to understand what that transit has always done to
you. You'll begin to understand what every person in your life who’s ever carried a 55 has done for
you. And remember if you're a 39 and you don’t have a 55, then it will link your split definition. This is
your Holy Grail – ‘I have to find the spirit’.
And anybody who’s a 55 can fool you in the moment. They seem to carry the spirit, but it’s an illusion.
And you can end up being totally dependent on them. You can end up going up and down based on
your interaction with them.
If you're a 39 and you don’t have the 55, you’ve spent your whole life meeting the 55. Not just as a
matter of transits. Any gate that you have dangling out there, that’s waiting for definition, you meet all

the time. It’s not always personal. Sometimes it’s the supermarket, the theatre, the crowded street.
It’s always there.
And the ultimate wisdom for the 39 is to understand the spirit, not to find it. They're not going to find
the emotional spirit there, that’s not who they are. They might be able to see somebody else’s
emotional spirit, and in that find a bond with them, through their ability to provoke it out of their 39.

Now think about the other side. The 59 gate. Now if you're somebody who has the 6 gate and you

don’t have the 59 – who in this room has the 6 gate and they don’t have the 59 gate? 2 people?
They’ll become pregnant!
Something very strange happens when you have the whole Channel of Intimacy. People who have
the 59-6 have a very unusual gift – they are able to penetrate auras. If you're somebody like me who
has a very powerful standoffish aura, it’s always surprising how easy it is for 59-6’s to crawl inside of
it. And you're helpless. I have a 59-6 son. Sometimes he crawls so much into my aura I think he's
trying to get inside of my body. There's nothing you can do.

So think about somebody who has the 6 gate and they don’t have the 59 gate. The 6 gate is the
Gate of Conflict. And that Gate of Conflict is always about the emotional instability that could be
engendered by intimacy. And these are people that don’t necessarily break into your aura. Well, this
is a week in which they can – and it can be very misleading.
Let’s say there's this person in the office who you see every once in a while in the cafeteria that you're
really interested in. But you have no access to them. You can't get into their aura. You can't even
th
get close enough to say good morning. And the Sun shows up in the 59 gate. Ohhh. You're an
aura-breaker. You'll go right in there.
It can be very misleading, both to the person that has their aura broken and to the person that's
breaking it, because it’s not them. You can't end up pregnant. You can't end up in an intimacy that
truly is not for you. You can be totally fooled by it. You can think that people are being intimate with
you, or you are being intimate with them, because you have a unique relationship with them that
suddenly emerged out of nothing. It’s just the programme.
One of the first things to do, in order to be able to map your life cycle, is that you take a Human
Design wheel and highlight the hexagrams that are the harmonics to your activated gates. In other
words those gates that are sticking out in no-man’s-land. Looking for something on the other side.
Chart what's on the other side. Map those gates as you go around the wheel. And what you have
then is a ‘trigger map’. You have a map of triggers that are going to impact on you. And it’s going to
be a lot easier for you – particularly if you're new in the knowledge – to recognise what's taking place.
You lay out your map and all you have to do is look at the Ephemeris and when you see those
hexagrams come up, you know “Ok. Let’s see what this is doing”.
In the beginning, the process is: look ahead and see what's coming. In the end, it’s: look behind and
see how funny it is! Because that’s the process. First you have to see it for yourself and you have to
learn how to sense these conditioning elements. So you have to be prepared. You have to know
when to put up the umbrella. You have to know what's coming so you can sense it.
Remember it’s not easy to notice one gate. Please understand that, how confusing it is in a room like
this. Everything’s active. The world’s like that. You go home to your families and there's multiple
auras that you're dealing with. Remember my little story at the beginning. I was all alone. I didn’t
have any interference field around me. It was much easier for me within that context to really see at
some level of purity what my relationship was specifically to the programme.
I'm not suggesting, by the way, that you go and live in nature for a while. But what I am saying is that
you have to realise that only in the beginning by focusing on what those activations are going to be,
can you actually have the attention to recognise them when they're taking place. It’s not easy; we’re
so dead. The magical senses, our real sensitivity, it’s not there.
And recognise something about all gates, channels and centres – this is your place of deepest
sensitivity. There's so many things that you can just read, that we call ‘mystical’. But they're not. We

are deeply sensitive creatures; we can take it in. But after living the not-self forever you deaden all of
that. You don’t get to really see the nuance and you don’t see how all of that is really working in you.
So the moment that you're following the programme and you can see your own map, you can see the
triggers, and you can begin this process of focusing your attention on what that is. How does this
work? How does this feel?
And it’s nothing more than beginning the role of being a passenger. It’s what I like about the
Ephemeris. As you begin to explore the Ephemeris, you begin to depersonalise. It’s one of the first
things that happens. ‘Depersonalise’ in the sense that you become much more an observer of
events. The programme says to you ‘You're a 39 and the 55’s coming’. So you look at that and you
say ‘Well, what does that mean?”. It means that there's this emotional energy that’s there. There's
this melancholy.
Wait and see that. How it impacts on you. What it feels like. Where it takes you. Often you'll forget,
because that’s the way it works. And then the next day suddenly you'll have this “Oh yes. That’s
what happened”. You begin to see it. You begin to recognise it.
And remember, it’s not like there's only one planet that's going to be impacting you in your design;
you’ve got many, in different places. That’s what I mean about recognising that you cannot, in any
way, conquer this through knowing it. You can experience it by being yourself, and in that you're
going to have a pure ride. But you can't conquer it intellectually, it’s just too much.
But you'll begin to see, by becoming familiar with your design, your vulnerabilities. For me, I have four
open centres but the emotions that really mess me up, here's my first focus. And once I understood
how I interacted with those connections of my emotions, there were other places to go. I could look at
what happened to me when my Root Centre would be activated and how much pressure that put on
me. I began to explore what happened to me in the Sacral Centre. I eventually began to see what
happened to me in my open Head Centre.
And when I was done looking at the centres, I got lost in looking at gates and channels. To see all of
the conditioning elements and just watch them. Not do anything. This is not knowledge in which
when you see, you can alter. That’s not what this is about. It’s about that when you finally see what's
really there, that is it a programme, you can let go. You can let go.
In the beginning I thought it would be very easy. I really did. It was so obvious to me that I figured it
would be obvious for everyone. It’s just so easy. And then you come up with such easy mechanics.
Not only easy mechanics, but they get verified by science – there are only four types, four mechanical
ways to operate in a vehicle. You would think that everybody would wake up.
Human beings that are conditioned, it’s a real journey. You have to see you're helpless. You have to
see the truth of that. And you have to recognise that in that helplessness there is something magical
and perfect – you! And that ‘you’ emerges. And it emerges the moment you give up being in control
of your life. It’s the moment that you watch as a passenger how you're made this way and that way,
and move this way and that way, and it’s just a programme.
I always wondered why I would be in a funky mood in the heart of winter. I found out! It wasn’t
winter. I spent most of my life looking for the sun. I thought I needed to get rid of winter because
winter made me emotional and angry. It’s the damn planets.
What I like about the Sun/Earth programme is that it really gives value to that old expression about
‘This too shall pass’. It’s what I learnt. The planets just keep moving around the wheel. These things
do pass. And all those moments of blackness for somebody who’s a 6 and is hit by the 59 or
somebody who’s a 39 and has to deal with the 55, this too shall pass.
So watch it; don’t let it hook you. It doesn’t have to hook you. It doesn’t have to become the decision
you make. This is the magic of decision-making. Decision-making keeps you honest. You make
decisions as yourself and it doesn’t matter what the energy is. It makes no difference. You're going
to operate correctly and you're going to be able to take advantage of whatever is there.

The Nodes of the Moon. In the same way that the movement of the Sun/Earth through a gate, which
is 6 days, when you're looking at the Nodes of the Moon they're basically ‘seasons’. If you look at the
index in the back in terms of the timing, you'll see that they stay approximately 106 days.
So, basically, you're looking at something that’s about on average 3½ months. Every 3½ months we
have a seasonal change on an 18½ year cycle. And Node cycles are very profound. And remember
that because the Nodes are a position and not an object, that these nodal cycles are trans-cellular
cycles. They're much greater cycles, they link us to the larger life.
They're also very deceptive; they're sneaky. They go right in there and they get you! And they stay
long enough for you to think that this will not pass! Tomorrow’s another day – it really is so. When
you look at the Earth and Sun changing lines, you really get something different each day. Yesterday,

with all of its 3 line nonsense, it passes.
But the Nodes, it doesn’t. It hangs in there. And you begin to think that something is changing you.
That something has suddenly happened to you. And because of the way our brains work – our mind
system is all about making up reasons – the moment that it happens, you have a reason for it. If it’s
coincidental to the interaction with another, you will just put that on them. ‘It’s because of that
conversation, that moment, that problem …. that I have this now’. Or ‘Because I read that book last
night I woke up this morning enlightened’. Because, because, because, because …

So we have the 20-34. There's the 34 up here is Sagittarius and you go down here to the 20 gate in
Gemini. And the 20 and 34 are opposite each other in the wheel; they're a polarity. But also to see
that the 20-34 in the bodygraph forms a channel that forms part of what's called ‘integration’. Which is
the most individual and self-absorbed of systems in the bodygraph.

The 20 gate is the gate of the expression of ‘I am now’. And so it’s very ‘I’ oriented. And at the very
th
bottom of that you enter into the Sacral Centre with the 34 gate. The first thing to recognise about
the presence of the 20-34 is that everybody on the planet is having less sex! It’s true. Everybody.
The Sacral Centre is the centre of reproduction, the centre of fertility, the centre of life. Every gate out
th
of the Sacral has an availability as a theme. The 34 gate is never available because it’s busy. And
when I say ‘never’, there are moments when it’s not busy. But as a general fact, they're just too busy.
And when they're not too busy, they're usually too tired. Because they’ve been so busy!
So we’re now living in a season of reduced sexuality on the planet. Everybody is too busy.
Now think about somebody who's is enormously sexually active, there's a lot of people whose life is
an obsession with sexuality. And all of a sudden they get the 20-34! They can't get turned on. They
really think they have a problem. They start investing in Viagra. It’s astonishing what happens to
people under the influence of transits.

Three months. The 20-34 started on February 5 . The Nodes go backwards through the lines and
th
when you get to April 12 , it’s over. Busy, busy, busy.
Again, think about what happens on the outside. Think about somebody who has nothing in that
channel. Out of nowhere comes ‘busy, busy, busy’. And, of course, that’s busy without being for
th
yourself; there's no 10 gate. It’s not about knowing anything about knowing why you're busy; there's
th
no 57 gate. There's simply the instrument of busyness.
And remember that the thing that is so spooky about our political timing now, and this particular
transit, is that the 20-34 can only triumph through guidance. Remember that the 20-34 is the only true
Manifesting Generator phenomenon. All other forms of Manifesting Generator are actually variations.
But there's only one pure Manifesting Generator.
And what we know about Manifesting Generator is that, number one, they're a Generator. Which
means that nothing happens other than out of response. The 20-34’s will respond to anything. They
just bounce off things that reject them, that get in their way. They try to busy themselves through life.
And at the moment that the 20-34 is acting as a Generator, and waiting to respond, that’s the moment
they receive their guidance.

By the way, that guidance doesn’t mean that you have to have somebody always peering over your
shoulder and pointing out where you have to go. The archetypal guidance of the 20-34 is that
somebody asks you something and you answer. That’s guidance.
So, one of the things to recognise about 20-34’s is that they're all susceptible to being guided. So
you’ve got a whole planet now of 20-34’s who are being very busy. And you have all of these forces
that are manipulating this busyness. I have three of the four gates of integration; I'm a 20-10-57, I
don’t have the 34. So I'm being ridiculously busy! I'm on an endless tour. Fortunately my last. This
transit will end at the right time.
But what it’s doing is it’s giving everybody an increased energy level. And that means that if you don’t
have a way of recognising that, it can become very uncomfortable energy. This is a time, for
example, when it’s generally more difficult for people to get a good night’s sleep, particularly if you're
not a Generator. If you're not a Generator this is a hellish transit. After all, only Generators are
Sacral beings. Reflectors, Projectors, Manifestors, we are non-Sacral. I'm a Manifestor. And the
moment that you have a defined Sacral Centre, it means that that whole amplification process of the
Sacral emerges.
If you're a non-Sacral being, you're not here to drop off at the end of the day in utter exhaustion. It’s
not the way we are designed. We’re designed to lie down long before we go to sleep. We’re not
Generators, we’re not motor people like that who just run on those engines until those engines are
exhausted and they collapse into sleep.
So basically what you have is a very unhealthy condition for the 30% of humanity that are non-
Generator in a transit like this. Most of them are being active too long. They're doing too much. And
so they're not sleeping well, which means that they're not metabolising properly; the 20-34 is a very
power metabolising gate. This is a wonderful time to go on a weight-loss programme. 20-34 is very
good at that as it increases your metabolism to a point at which you start burning off calories. Busy,
busy, busy.
My joke is that if I were to do a proper analysis for you of today that it would take me a week! That’s
when you realise the limitation of intellectually grasping anything. We can grasp certain things; we
have to grasp what's necessary for us to grasp. But in the end we have to be saved from that being
the big exam. If that’s the big exam, everybody fails and stays furniture. We've got an endless movie
of a fixed camera staring into a furniture store! That the end of it. I'm particularly cruel today!

Let’s start with the inner planets moving outwards. Today we have Mercury in the 19 gate. But
th
Mercury can jump Neptune in the 19 gate. So Mercury is the planet of communication and when
Mercury is in a gate, the principles of that gate, or the nature of that gate, this is the theme. So, for
th th
example, the 19 gate is the gate of Approach. It is one of the Four Ways. The 19 gate is about
territory. It is the energy to need. It is about touch. It is ultimately about finding the right shelter, the
right principles, the right gods, the right community. It is a very profound gate.

And so we have Mercury in the 19 gate. Things having to do with god, and territory, are things that
are being communicated. This is an essential topic. Now, Mercury is there and it’s being veiled by
th
Neptune, because Neptune is also in the 19 gate. So if you're somebody like me with the 49, you
don’t really get what has to be communicated. If you look for it you never find it. This is the kind of
transit for me that out of the blue comes some kind of funny comment and I've no idea where it came
from. I communicate something and I've no idea where it came from. Hidden behind the veil of
Neptune.
So one of the things to see is that one can learn many things from the mundane to the truly, truly

profound. If you have Mercury in the 19 gate, it’s a great day to sell a piece of property. It’s a great
day to sell a refrigerator. I guarantee you that today more people are buying refrigerators than they
th
did yesterday! Why? It’s not madness. The 19 gate is the need for resources. If you're somebody
th
who has the 19 gate, one of the most important things for you is that you have a good way of storing
resources. Imagine all the people right now in Iraq who are trying to find ways to hide food. Storing
the resources becomes very important.

It’s one of the things I tell people with the 19 , that you're always going to be much more emotionally
balanced if you have a full refrigerator – even if there’s stuff rotting in it! Just opening the door and
seeing it’s full makes you feel good. If you open that door and it’s empty you have a panic attack that
you can barely survive. Mother Hubbard’s cupboard. You go nuts. So they're selling refrigerators
today. Be careful they don’t sell you one.
Communicating the principles of territory. I mentioned the nature of Venus and this is actually a nice

Venus transit – Venus in the 54 gate, the Marrying Maiden. And sometime between today at noon
th
and tomorrow at noon we will enter into the 54.4 which is this mystical line of the 54 hexagram. The
channel 54-32 is the Channel of Transformation. And the Channel of Transformation is about
nd
recognition. The 32 gate has a capacity that is called instinct, and that capacity of instinct is to be
able to judge the quality of somebody else. To be able to judge, in essence, their value. To be able
to recognise somebody who can rise up. To be ale to recognise the possibility in the other.

The 54 gate, the Marrying Maiden, is the gate of ambition. The gate of the concubine that becomes
empress. It is the whole story of rising up. And that rising up demands recognition. Anybody who
nd th
has the 32 gate and meets Venus in the 54 gate, there is always the potential for transformation.
And that potential for transformation is the possibility to be able to fulfil your ambition. And you know
the way you fulfil your ambition is that you recognise how you can deny failure in your life.

Everything about the 32 gate is about the fear of failure. And everybody who has the 32 gate

without the 54 gate is always looking for the ambition and drive that will finally allow them to
transcend the fear of failure. That’s why they're always looking for something that will bring about the
transformation.
And here comes Venus with her values. Those of you that are here are experiencing an archetype of
this transit. Your opportunity to fulfil your ambition and rise up. And your ability to do so by finally
understanding your value. Because it is about values. And success or failure is about you. It’s your
problem. It’s what you're dealing with.
Remember something about having the 32 and not having the 54. If you have an open Root Centre –
those of you that have the 32 – and you don’t have this connection, when you get the 54 it’s very
powerful. The not-self strategy of the open Root Centre is ‘Let me get finished with it as quickly as I
can so I can be free’. This is the madness of adrenalised anxiety. There you go with your open Root
Centre and the moment anything is put in front of you it’s ‘Let me get this over with as quickly as
possible so I can get free. Let me get rid of this pressure’.

And the moment the 54 gate comes there, that not-self strategy disappears. And there's no hurry to
get rid of the pressure. And there's the opportunity for transformation. Later today when it moves into
th
the 4 line is the possibility to hear the call. It’s the possibility in that sense to be able to make contact
with something beyond the mundane.
I mentioned we were doing genetic codons for the first three days and the 53-54 axis is very
th
interesting because it is death and transformation or death and resurrection. And the 54 gate is the
rd
death and the 53 gate is the resurrection. When I had my experience with The Voice in 1987 at the
beginning of January, that’s where the axis was of the Sun/Earth, for six days out of my eight day
experience. The 53-54. Anybody that enters into a 54 has a chance to die. You all have a chance to
die as furniture. And awaken as beings who are alive and have a life. That’s what's possible.
But it’s also saying something else. It’s saying that transformation is in the wind. Every time this
comes by, there's transformation there. It’s waiting. It’s Venusian. It can change the way in which
you see yourself. It can change your values. Now you don’t want to be conditioned by that. You
want to be who you are and experience it. And that’s the difference.
Whatever values you can apply to any kind of gate, you really have to recognise that all you have to
do is live as yourself to see what it means. It’s not my interpretation that’s important; it really isn't.
Because what you will see is that these are all archetypes that have many, many nuances. How you
as a unique being experiences the potential of this Venusian ambition is dependent on your nature.
It’s dependent on the characteristics that are there in your design, and most of all it’s dependent on
whether you're operating correctly as yourself.

Mars. Mars and Pluto are conjunct in the 26 gate. The gate of the egoist. The gate of the trickster.
And you have the immaturity of Mars with the truth of Pluto. So right now we are not getting any
mature truth from anybody! We’re getting a lot of half-truths. And more than that we’re getting
Martian truths.
And all of that quality of Mars that is traditional to its warrior nature, and all of these things. These are
th
Martian truths that are affecting us. Now that’s going to stop on the 20 of the month, today, so this is
th
the end of the transit of Mars that started on the 13 . So rather than getting Martian truth when Mars
th
moves tomorrow into the 11 gate, we’re going to get Martian ideas. And the Martian ideas are going
to impact on all of the war and peace planners.
There's a tremendous amount of pressure, and it’s calendar pressure, that’s at work in the political
drama over Iraq. There's a window to go to war and the window is closing. Nobody talks about it, but
it’s there. The military planners know that it’s getting too hot in the desert and they wouldn’t have the
same advantages until November. And there's all this pressure that you can see.
When I live in my CNN life, which I like so much, it’s so obvious to me that these are all helpless
players. It’s not like there's anybody to blame here. What if George is an idiot? Or Saddam is a
monster? It doesn’t really make much difference in the end. It’s a much greater play. It’s a much
larger play. And none of these beings are responsible; I know that. It’s not their fault that they are the
way they are. As a matter of fact, no matter what anybody thinks, they are representatives of their
people. It’s just a movie.
And the programme rules. And no matter what is going on out there, no matter how you think that all
of these different forces are trying to initiate this and do this, they're just like us. They're all in the
movie. What would be fun is if I put up Blair and Bush and Saddam… And, by the way, Saddam and
Bush are so much alike that in a crowded room they wouldn’t even notice each other! Two crisis
machines!
And if you could watch the way in which the transits were impacting them you would see what's going
on. You'd just see the movie.

Jupiter. The law. It’s so appropriate that it’s almost hysterical. 33 gate – where Jupiter is – is the
Gate of Retreat in the Channel of The Prodigal, of the Witness. It’s the combination of the human
experiential way. It is the channel through which we are able to reflect on the past and we are able to
rd
make sense out of the past. And the 33 gate is one of the gates of The Four Ways. And in this Gate
of Retreat we have two things: Remembrance and Revelation. And Jupiter, the law – remember
Jupiter likes the law – is demanding that we remember and that we reveal. And, by the way, this is
the entire platform of the peace movement – ‘Let us remember what war does and how horrible it is.
And let us wait for the inspectors to reveal’. It’s very Jupiterian.
And you can see that it’s not a dominant force and it is the law, after all. It is the law of the UN, so to
speak. It’s an aspect. You’ve got Mars a little itchy over in the corner. You’ve got all the
communication getting fuzzy because Neptune’s clouding it over and all this territorial stuff is

confused. Haven’t you noticed that during the transit of Neptune to the 19 gate, that the whole idea
of the enemy stopped being about borders? It was all veiled. No borders anymore. The next door,
the down the street. It’s those who want the past and those who want the future. It is those that are
fundamentalist and those that are secularists.
This is Neptune saying “No territory. What territory are you going to defend? Where is it? How can
you?” Oh, it’s a great dilemma. Resisting the programme. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure
that out. It’s just the way in which all of us are being impacted.
And because the planet is not-self, everybody just falls into those patterns and lives them out. No
wonder they all think that there's gods and things to pray to. They're all being driven like mindless
sheep.

Now, let’s say you have the 13 gate and you don’t have the 33 gate. How many of you have the

13 gate without the 33 gate? Three. I think today is a good day to take a vow of silence until the

transit ends! Let me give you a classic situation of transit confusion. You’ve got a couple and one of
th
them has the 13 gate and doesn’t have the 33. All of a sudden the Nodes are there, the 20-34. And
something’s happening to their sex life. There's something funny going on because they can both feel
it. And there's a slight lack of interest and there is this busy-ness. But they don’t know that that’s
extraneous. They're both beginning to wonder now – ‘Is there something wrong?” And so there
comes that delicious moment where they're both not busy and they meet. And in that moment of

meeting there's Jupiter in the 33 gate. Oh boy!

You know what the 33 gate is? It’s the Gate of Secrets. Now if the 33 gate shows up, those
secrets are going to pop out, and they pop out of the mouth! Quick. So they're having this
conversation about ‘Is there something the matter dear? We don’t seem to be…’, ‘Yes. And it has to
do with ….’ And out comes that secret! Ohhh. It never should have been said. It just pops out. This
is a very embarrassing time.
I'm a 33 and I don’t have the 13. When there are 13 transits I have had so many embarrassing
moments. Things I did not want revealed were suddenly right out there. So I want to tell you, if you're
a 13 and you don’t have the 33, you're in trouble right now. Don’t initiate the conversation, you may
pay a deep price for that.

It tells us something else – that as long as Jupiter is in the 33 gate, secrets are going to come out.
And they can be good secrets or bad secrets. They can be personal secrets or universal secrets. All
kinds of secrets will come out. This is a chance for the secrets to emerge.
The beauty of being able to look at any binary programme is, I guess, the reassurance it can give you.
But it’s not bad. There is always that flipside of that coin, and what Jupiter brings out can be of
enormous value. But the not-self, it can be very embarrassing. It’s the law, after all. And there are
things to be revealed and remembered and it’s very important for us. It’s part of a cycle.
It’s something else. Something to recognise about outer planet movement - beginning with Jupiter –
is that because there's enough time you really are able to see specific planetary cycles and their
impact in your life. Remember that if you're a split definition the gates that can link your split have a
deep, deep impact on you; they're very powerful conditioning. Imagine the position of Jupiter in the

33 gate linking up to your 13, it actually brings two aspects of your split together.
You don’t have to believe me when I say that secrets will emerge – go back and see for yourself!
You're all old enough to take advantage of many Jupiter cycles, 11½ years or so. Go back and look
at the last time this happened to you. And the time before that. I love my Jupiter cycles, they teach
you so much, because you can actually see your spiral of development. 11.86 years, basically a 12-
year cycle. If you look back 12 years ago that’s the last time – for those of you that have this
configuration – that it happened. And go back 12 years before that if you can and you'll begin to see
the impact of this transit on you, and how important it is.
These are very important cycles. So if you're somebody who’s been deeply impacted by the 33 at the
end of the 13, you can actually see what that was all about and you can begin to recognise what's
happening to you this time in your spiral of development. What is going to emerge this time. What
you really remember this time. What is there to be revealed this time in the cycle.
Saturn is in one of its favourite places. Saturn is deeply connected with the material plane and if you
were to find a planetary association closest to Saturn, it’s the Earth. The Earth and Saturn have a
deep connection to each other; they're both deeply concerned about the material plane. And when I
say the material plane, I'm not simply talking about economics, money, material in that sense, I'm
talking about the physical material of the life itself as well.

So when you have Saturn entering into the 45 gate, you have something that is very powerful. The

45 gate is the Gate of Gathering Together. And this Gate of Gathering Together that you see here in
the Throat Centre is the only expression of the Ego. The Ego only has one direct voice, and because
the Ego is instrumental in what the tribe is, that everything about tribal circuitry is expressed through
th
the 45 gate.

The 45 gate is the very opposite end of the pole to the 54, and you'll notice the numbers are
reversed. The 54 is The Marrying Maiden, the concubine who wants to become empress, and the 45
is the empress, the pasha, the king, the ruler, the owner, the chairman of the board. The one you
have to pay tribute to, taxes to. The one who controls the territory.

So the 45 gate is a deeply material gate. Not only that it has a very unique voice; all gates in the
th
Throat have a voice. And the voice of the 45 gate is “I have” or “I don’t have”. Have. It’s all about “I
have to” and “You have to” and “They have to”. “And you'd better, or else!” And everything about the
45 is that it puts enormous pressure on what we have and what we don’t have. In other words deep
material concerns. Deep. The conversation is “I have” or “I don’t have”.
And if you're not correct that’s where you get punished. Because that’s where Saturn is doing its
punishing these days. It’s doing it on the material plane. So the bubble has burst. All my gangster
friends lost a fortune in tech. It’s all gone. The market’s dead. Everybody is nervous. You’ve got
incredible under-employment. It goes on an on. All this enormous pressure of Saturn there punishing
us on the material plane.
People actually think the war in Iraq is about oil; they think it’s about material. It’s just the imprint of
Saturn saying that. It’s nothing to do with anything. Nothing. And here's Saturn, ‘the judge’. The

judge sitting there in the 45 gate. Judging. And so you end up judging yourself.
Now think about somebody who suddenly has the 20-34 which they didn’t have before. And the first
thing they're going to judge is “I don’t get enough money in my job, so I'm going to quit! Because I’ve
got all this energy now and I'm going to get another one. And I'm going to do better”. There are going
to be a lot of people under this pressure quitting their jobs on the assumption that they're going to do
better. And they're going to be judging what they have and what they don’t have. Complaining about
what they don’t have. Talking about what they do have.

The 6 line. Saturn spends the whole month in the 6 line of the 45. This is all about the outside. It’s
all about bringing the outsider inside, to make money from bringing the outsider inside! You’ve got all
of these Pluto people running around saying “This is the truth. And this will make you rich. And this
will make you healthier. And this will make wiser” And everybody is trying to get everybody else to
stop being an outsider and become an outsider in order to have more. “Join our side”.
You can see the polarisation of the planet right now. You can see it’s a delightful movie if you don’t
take it personally. You can see how a planet polarises. Ever since the end of the Cold War, the world
has desperately been looking for its polarity. We are dualistic; we are this and that. It is unhealthy for
us to live in a world that is not binary. So the moment we lost one binary, we were desperately
looking for another binary. And you can see that we’re drawing lines now. The outsider that’s pulled
inside and the insider that’s pulled outside. And there's this side and that side. And you get all of this
movement.

And the 45 gate rules us. The rulers end up making the decisions, not the people. You can see in
the democracies where you have this supposedly high resistance to enter into any war, you still have
th
politicians that will go to war. This is about the 45 gate – what we have and what we don’t have.
That we have to do. And the others say “No. You don’t have to”.
And guess what? It costs a fortune. It’s material. You want to go to war? Ok. Saturn says “Pay,
pay, pay, pay, pay”. Nobody's adding up what the bill is. It’s enormous. It’s going to take a
generation to pay it back. What we have. What we don’t have. What we have to do.
So think about yourself, and think about what happens if you're a 21 and all the pressure that you're
putting on yourself, on the things that you ‘have to do’. You do not. Don’t get lost in the movie.
We’re not extras in this movie. You don’t have to be caught up in all of that. And the fact of the
matter is the moment that you're operating correctly, Saturn will show you something very delightful –
it will show you that you can have the ability to bring outsiders inside. That you can bring those from
the outside in, and you can be of great service to them in doing so.

The key to the 45 gate is education. It’s a great opportunity to educate people in something that will
give them material benefits in the future. There's so many positives you can see with this. However,

why stop giving people personal readings? I get tired of sitting beside the not-self. This is the world.
They're all caught up in this drama; they think it’s their drama. They all take it so damn seriously. It’s
a serious world, serious people, all the time.
A friend of mine asked me about awakeness. And I said “Well, when ordinary things are funny, you're
awake!” All this seriousness, you know? If it weren’t so tragic as a movie, it would be hilarious as
farce. But it is the planet. There are all of these babies dying. All of these people who are suffering.
All this madness that is out there. And it’s nothing but ignorance being manipulated by the
programme. And then you get to pay the price.

Uranus. The 30 gate. It’s one of my favourites. I do like the jokes, and the 30 gate is the Gate of
the Fates. The Gate of Feelings. It’s the deepest gate of desire. And how extraordinary it is that out
of desire can come our light. This is a time of it. And the light comes from the confrontation that the
th
fates bring into all of our lives. From the moment that Uranus entered into the 30 gate, I cautioned
anyone who would listen that this is not a time for expectations. If you have expectations now, you're
going to suffer deeply because of that.
When you look at the human experiential way, which operates on the outside through the emotional
st
system, what you're looking at here is the 41 gate. And remember this is the ‘start codon’; it starts all
th
experiences. This is the gate of the resource of feelings, the fantasy. You go up here to the 30 gate
where the feelings become concretised as desire, and then you have the channel 35-36, the Channel
th
of Transitoriness, the Jack of all Trades. The 36 gate is the gate of inexperience seeking the
th
experience and progress of the 35 gate.
And everything about this movement is about moving from hunger to satiation. From the roots of
desire to the experience itself. And that the experience – and the benefit of the experience, or the
projected benefit of the experience, what we call ‘expectation’ – is the goal. This is our human way.
And what is essential to recognise is that the human abstract way is not logical. Abstract people are
forever saying “If I do this, this and that, I'm going to get there” and they are deeply annoyed when it
doesn’t happen! And can't understand why not. It seemed so logical to them. But logic is about fixed
patterns, the abstract is about exploring the experience of life. There is no fixed pattern to that.
There is simply the feeling, and the movement through experience.

The 30 gate is the Gate of the Fates. And it’s the fates that make the abstract process
unpredictable. They get in the way. And the deeper your expectation, the more powerful their
interference. They really get in the way. And because this has to do with desire, and because it’s
emotional there are very few human beings who can deal with the fates getting in their way. They
almost never see the opportunity. They almost never see that this is what it’s all about. It’s not about
getting to your expectation, it’s not the result – it’s the journey. And when the fates intervene, the
journey becomes something unique; it becomes something differentiated. It becomes your
experience. Your journey.

Uranus stays in a gate a long time. And when you have Uranus in the 30 gate you have the
presence of the fates; they're an active principle. But they're an active principle in a very unusual
way, being Uranus. It means that every time the fates are getting in your way, every time that your
expectation breaks down, there's a chance to find the light. If you're awake. If you're living out your
nature. If you're honouring your strategy. Otherwise it’s deeply debilitating to the psychology.

Desire is a very powerful thing. To have your desires bottled up in the 30 gate; the 30 gate is a
gate of ‘bottling’. It’s the gate of the sweet and the sour. It’s a gate that ends up being the spectator,
watching somebody else climb the mountain. Reading about somebody else making love upside
down in a canoe! All the experiences they would love to have, and can't. And get all the experience
vicariously. All that desire just bottled up. It’s what the fates do to us.

Now think about it if you're a 41. And you don’t have the 30 gate. All of a sudden all of that pressure
st
gets concretised as a fixed desire. And it can be obsessive. I have the 41 gate in an undefined Root
th
Centre and I don’t have a defined Solar Plex Centre. So Uranus in the 30 gate, along with Neptune
in the 19, I have all these emotional activations. And it’s so funny for me to see how my desires get
th
bottled up the moment that Uranus is in the 30 gate. It’s just cute. They get bottled up and put on a
shelf. And I end up watching everybody go down that road of expectation.

I can remember what it was like for me to meet the activation of the 30 gate! I would go off and
cheat on one of my wives. That was just the natural thing to do. There was all this desire, and
suddenly I was desirous – what to do? It got me into a lot of trouble. I didn’t know where it came
from; I thought it was me! I thought it was my desire. When you think it’s your desire and you don’t
know that you're not-self, you give authority to it.
And so I would follow that desire. And, of course, all of that ended up being very empty. It wasn’t my
desire. It had nothing to do with me.
We’re so fooled and manipulated, we humans. It’s a good thing that the gods aren’t really gods,
because I don’t think they could work properly as they'd be dying of laughter!! What a hilarious show
down here. And it’s true. I watch it every day. If you really follow the programme, and you like
newspapers or TV news, you're going to see this programme on the news every day. And if you know
the keynotes of the gates that are being activated, you will see that the talking heads use these
keynotes. We were just doing a thing in Spain. I was doing an analysis of a Prince from the Spanish
Royal Family, and then somebody brings in a newspaper with exactly the same things I was
describing. In his words. I was describing his not-self, he gives an interview and gives his not-self as
him! I was describing what was going on in the UN and I was using the keynotes and the next day in
the newspaper, there it is. We happened to be in the Cross of the Masks, and I was talking about
how the Cross of the Masks always has this potential to be able to drop the mask. The headline next
day is ‘UN Security Council meets and they must drop their masks’.
No matter where you look, you'll see that the programme filters down to every single level of life. It’s
there. If you begin to see it over and over again, it will help you let go. It will free you of thinking that
it’s up to you - in any way – what's going to happen to you in this life. It will let you know that you
don’t have to change anything. You don’t have to be anything. You don’t have to become anything.
You don’t have to regret anything. You can simply be yourself. Totally different movie.
This year began with Uranus, the Rave New Year, and later in this programme over the next few
days, I'm going to be talking about Transit Analysis. The analysis of events, or moments. And every
Rave New Year has a story to tell. It gives us an imprinting of what the general configuration of the

year is. And this Rave New Year began with Uranus in the 30 gate, 4 line. And the 4 line is
‘Burnout’. This is the theme of this year. The burnout of desire. The burnout of concepts, directions,
all kinds of things.

In fact, that burnout only ended as an active principle on the 7 of this month. On the 8 it went into
th
the 5 line of ‘Irony’. And so the way in which the fates can get in your way now has a certain ironic
twist to it. And you may discover ‘Good news? Bad news? Who knows?’ may be deeply interesting
for you.

This brings us to Neptune. I've already mentioned the nature of the 19 gate, all these territorial
themes. Obviously these are things that are very confusing now. And the one thing about Neptune is
that unless you're really being correct within yourself, you cannot afford to be drawn into what you
th
cannot possibly understand. With Neptune in the 19 gate, there are many things that are distorted.
Ideas of territory, ideas of what resources you really need. Ideas of what principles you need to live
by. All these things are being veiled by Neptune there.
In other words, one of the things to recognise about our time is that we’re having a kind of ‘dissolving’
of principles. And this dissolving is that the way in which we look at faith, the way in which we look at
community, the way in which we look at our security, all of these things are changing. And all of this
is the influence of Neptune. And, quite frankly, we’re not going to have any clarity until Neptune
leaves.
But also to remember that during this long Neptunian transit we have a whole generation, a vast
number of humans, that are going to carry this activation into the future. This business of being
confused about territory - and not knowing where the territory is - this is a theme for the next 100
years.

We have Pluto in the 26 gate. And, again, if you're somebody that has the 44 gate and you don’t
th
have the 26 gate, this is a very powerful transit. Whenever you have a Plutonic transit that impacts
you directly, it’s always something that is very deep. After all, it is dealing with this thematic of what
truth is for you. And it is the teaching of Pluto in that specific place to bring you to that truth.
But if you're somebody that has the 44, the 44-26 has many different things about it. Because it is the
th
only connection between the Ego and the Splenic system. Where the 44 gate is a key to our
th
lymphatic system, and our protection, when we’re dealing with the 26 gate, we are dealing with
T-cells. The last time I was at an airport, I picked up a Scientific American and there's this whole new
th th
kind of T-cell that they're developing. Taking place with Pluto in the 26 gate. The 26 gate is the
gate of the T-cell. The T-cell is one of the most important elements of our immune system; it is our
soldiers. And they are killers. As a matter of fact, if we could reduce human size and put you
somewhere where a T-cell could see you, you would not like that! They eat you alive. And fast. T-
cells are extraordinary killers. And we cannot live without them.

But when you think that the 26 gate is about soldiers protecting our immune system, it’s not a far
stretch of the imagination to see how that extrapolates to the outside world. All of these soldiers in
the outside world trying to provide security, wellbeing and protection for their immune systems.
And, of course, all of this linked with the truth. Who's got the truth? And that truth backed up by
soldiers.
You don’t need a crystal ball for this stuff! It really is just mechanics. And as long as you're familiar
with the nature of the gates, and the way in which the keynotes are laid out, you can slowly piece
together the impact.
If you are 44, though, and you are experiencing this 26, if you're honouring your strategy, it a great
opportunity for you. Somebody who has an undefined Ego, somebody who’s undervalued
themselves, somebody who in the not-self is always trying to prove things and convince everybody
that they were valuable and useful, that if you're entering into things correctly it becomes an
advantage to have that Ego of yours defined. That you can begin to see how you can express your
worth to others. Without it being something that you have to lean on and become addicted to.
Remember it’s about becoming wise. It’s about seeing how Egos work. It’s about recognising that
you have another way of finding valuation. You don’t have to find it that way, that’s not your way.
And yet, at the same time, you can take advantage of it.

The other thing is that it’s going to warm you up. Because the 44 gate is a cold gate, and the 26
gate is a hot gate. And one of the things about heating up – and one of the things about having Pluto
th
in the 26 gate – is that it can lead to real problems. I saw today on the news, it was so obvious, in
Hong Kong today was an alert for bird flu. And an example of bird flu in which the two people who
have died so far were members of the same family and the flu was passed from the child to the parent
or the parent to the child. Normally with bird flu, it doesn’t pass from human to human; it doesn’t
make that jump. In families it is possible because of the genetic similarity, so they're doing tests. But
the fact is that the last time they had a flu like this, two million people died. Worldwide flu pandemic.

If you look in the design of forms, you will see that birds are designed in the matrix to have the 44
gate and not the 26! And here's Pluto in the 26 and all of a sudden we have the worldwide alert – the
tests are being done now, the race to prepare vaccines if it does pass from human to human – that
th
millions of people on the planet are going to die from this thing. Pluto in the 26 gate. Hello! Just a
little bird action!
Mutations are the direct result of heating. Heat. That’s why I am in favour of global warming! It’s
amazing for me because I find myself in bed with George W. Bush!! Which is really extraordinary that
George and I agree on something. As a matter of fact, I don’t even think he agrees with me, I just
think it’s politically correct for him. But, nonetheless, global warming is terrific. We are in a deeply
mutative phase; we’re about to have one of the most extraordinary mutations take place. And
everything about the fertility of any mutation is rooted in heat. We’re warming up. Pluto coming into
th
the 26 gate now, it’s warming up the planet.

And in warming it up, it’s causing mutations. Not simply mutations in birds – in fish and in reptiles.
There are so many ways, when you understand the underlying matrices, where you can look and see
th
the influence of a planet. And the last time Pluto was in the 26 gate was 265 years ago! So you
know when it comes around it leaves a long track behind it. It’s an event. So this struggle for the
truth – birds that become disease-carriers – all these things, it’s one gate. And it’s Pluto there.
It’s the Channel of Transmission, the Channel of Surrender. It’s a real opportunity for so many to
actually know the truth within themselves. That’s what I like about my work. In the end all I ever have
to deliver is a deeply simple formula and then people can just find out. And the whole point of
continuing education and looking at all of these things is to constantly remind you, over and over
again, it’s not up to us. We’re not in charge here.
And the moment you see that is the moment that you can take that incredible leap: ‘If I'm not in
charge, let’s see what happens when I don’t try to be in charge’. Because that’s the point. And then
you get to see that it works correctly. It works as it should.
The Moon. It takes the Moon 29.5 days on average to go around the wheel. That means that every
29.5 days, it activates every single gate and line in the wheel. And it does that about 14 times a year.
It stays in a gate for about half a day. So every two hours the Moon is shifting a line. It moves very
quickly.
There two kinds of teaching; there is line teaching and there is gate teaching. The Moon’s a great
gate teacher. And what I mean by that is that when you first come to this knowledge, if you need
quick recognition of the impact of being fixed, then the Moon is something that will help you
immediately. Within the period of 29.5 days, any gate that you have that’s looking for activation, you
will find it through the agency of the Moon. Now the Moon isn't going to teach you much about the
subtleties of any gate, but it will bring you in contact with the variations that are taking place. In other
words, you will begin to get a sense through the Moon of what it’s like to suddenly be emotional, or
suddenly be this or that.
Obviously when you want to study a line, Pluto gives you 235 days to do so. It gives you a long time
to check out a line. Neptune gives you 156 days. Uranus gives you 79 days. Saturn gives you 28
days. You can do line research. You can really see the nuances of activations. The Moon’s for the
quick run.
But it’s more than that. There's nothing more important for Reflectors, who are an important
instrument of the way in which the programme operates, than coming to grips with the lunar cycle. It’s
one of the jokes. We have a thing called the design of dreaming, ‘the Dream Rave’. When a human
being lies down in the horizontal, he takes on a mammalian matrix. And in taking on that mammalian
matrix, we’re reduced from a 64-activation to a 16. And the moment that happens, the vast majority
of humanity becomes Reflectors, about 70%. So the vast majority of humanity, while it sleeps, are
Reflectors.
Now the opposite is true when they come to a waking state. When they come to a waking state, we
see that Reflectors represent a very small percentage of humanity, about 1%. Most people think
there are so few of them, well there are 60 million of them! That’s more than the population of any
country in Europe. It’s just that in a world of 6 billion, it can seem like you don’t get a lot of them on
your palette, but they're there.
It’s essential for Reflectors – as it is for Projectors and all non-energy types – to understand the
mechanics of Human Design. Their strategy operates differently. It has limitations. It’s not a strategy
that’s available moment by moment. After all, Reflectors are true lunar types, they are different from
the other three types. They are not solar, not as determined in that way by the programming of the
Sun/Earth as they are by the Moon.
And that by following the nature of the Moon for them, they begin to see something other than
conditioning; they get to see their actual nature. Remember how I suggested to you this creation of a
wheel in which you only mark those activations that are going to transform you. Now, obviously, if
you're a Reflector and you have no definition, all you have is these little ‘fingers’ sticking in space.
And if you map out that wheel, and you only watch the Moon, what you get to see is that there is a

sequence for you of definition. It is a fixed lunar sequence that repeats itself about 14 times a year.
This is very, very important for Reflectors because what it represents is the way in which their
awareness frequency operates. My illustration of that is that if you could see a Reflector over a 29.5
day period, in which we could film them for the whole 29.5 days, and then compress that film into one
24-hour period, you would really see what a Reflector is. But you can't. They don’t operate that way.
They have a frequency that operates through that lunar cycle and so they go through a sequence that
may be suddenly they're Ajna-defined, Splenic-defined, Root-defined, there's a rotation in the way in
which they are specifically programmed. And for them, it’s essential.
If you already have definition, your openness is not the same as their openness. You have definition,
which means that you have a place that is securely you. They do not. And so their relationship to
conditioning is different. People think that Reflectors are somehow weak, or deeply conditioned. As a
matter of fact, Projectors are more conditioned than Reflectors. Reflectors are very tough. They're
real survivors. They don’t have a problem with strength; that’s not their thing. The fact is that their
greatest problem is that they don’t know where to be. Not who to be. Where to be.
It has to do with the core of what it is to have an undefined Self. The only thing that’s important to a
Reflector is that if they are not in the right place, they will never have any success in this life. And
they will never have the right people in their life. And they will never be able to fulfil their potential.
The Moon drives us. It’s really pushy. And the fact that it only stays a short amount of time in gates -
for those of us who have definition - it’s actually a relief. And the only time that those of us who have
definition are really are impacted by the Moon is when we look at the Moon in terms of events. And
this is something we’ll look at later on in this programme. When you look at the Moon in terms of
events, you can see what is an imprinted, driving point. In other words, you can see the influence of
the Moon in terms of how it’s going to imprint for that cycle that’s initiated from that moment.
But in terms of our day-to-day lives, yes it’s interesting to see where the Moon is in the beginning –
you can watch that quick-run movie – but the fact is that it’s much more important for you to
concentrate on Sun/Earth, Nodes and Outer Planets. The things that move slowly give you a greater
advantage to learn from them. And this is the point of this whole exercise: to learn how you are
conditioned.
And to begin to recognise the conditioning. For me it’s a taste. It’s like I’ve gotten to the point where
when somebody steps into my aura, they remind me of somebody else. It’s not like they look like
somebody else, or dress like somebody else, or smell like somebody else; they're aurically like
somebody else. And I can remember that. And most of that goes back to primary people in your life.
In other words, I can always tell who are my brothers and fathers, and I can always tell who are my
sisters and mothers.
Because this is the way it works. You have this initial imprinting. The first seven years of your life is
where you are conditioned. And whatever is there in your environment, these are conditioned
elements you're going to carry with you the rest of your life unless you wake up. And it means you're
going to repeat those things over and over again. You're going to repeat mother and sister, brother
and father, over and over again. You know how many times I've reminded people that they keep on
making love to their relatives?! After a while it’s just not healthy.
For me, anybody that really wants to have support in Human Design, that this is the beginning of a
support mechanism. This is what I like about it. I know that in most cases simply being told that
you're this type or that type and here is your strategy is not enough to transform lives. I've learnt that.
I've had to come to accept that that’s so. And fortunately for me I have many allies who have the
skills and the nature to be able to do something about that. To be able to provide support
mechanisms. To be able to help people through this process.
Most of the time the students in my life just stay students because they keep on trying to get closer to
that point where they don’t have to understand it anymore, they can just be it. Because once you get
your strategy, everything else just adds to your depth – and perhaps it can remind you that you really
are helpless.

Ephemeris
The greatest lie of all is ‘Knowledge is Power’. It’s an incredible lie! Knowledge is information. It’s
not power. This is all just information. Just because you have heard the information doesn’t mean
that it can do anything for you. The fact that you see where your law is, your judge is, your morality
is… yeah, and? You're going to fix it now yourself? You're going to change that? You're going to
start doing furniture repair? It’s all madness; it’s not what it’s about.
It goes back to what makes this knowledge so special: it’s simple, verifiable truths. Substantiated.
There are only four kinds of vehicles. All kinds of nuances, but only four vehicles. Only four manuals
in the glove compartment. They all have the same thing: “Here's how you drive in this vehicle. You
sit back. You shut up. And you follow your strategy. And you look out of the windows. And you get
to see what's there for you”.
It’s magic. It’s so simple. It’s so funny how so simple can be so difficult. And all these teachers for
thousands of years, who had no damn map, keep on telling everybody to wake up, be enlightened, be
pure, do this, do it better. No-one ever told you that you could do that. Nobody ever showed you
how. Nobody ever gave you a mechanic. Nobody ever made it simple for you.
The greatest difficult that I have confronted in 15 years of doing this is that human beings are too
smart! I'm tired of smart people. And so dumb! The smarter you are, the dumber you get. You
forget all the things that really matter and you forget about how important simple is. Simple. If a truth
isn't simple and universal, it’s not a truth.
And at the end of any of these courses, no matter how sophisticated they are – and this is not a
sophisticated course; it’s a very simple one – I end up with the same simple thing. Please understand
that. Live the experiment. The truth will be self-evident. Oh yes, it’s wonderful. Look at the
programme. Watch the movie. Learn how it works. But recognise that as you live out your strategy,
you will see that you are free of the turmoil that comes with this. That you have a way of seeing that
others do not have. Because you break through the veil.
And the moment that you're not caught in being responsible for your life… After all, what a pressure!
What I could never understand about people who can't accept ‘no choice’ is ‘Wow, what a burden to
be god! How do you do that?’ If you had a choice, you could actually go after things – and get them.
Enlightenment, if you have a choice. You want to be awake don’t you? And aren’t you? And why
not, if you have a choice? There is no choice. It is what it is.
The beauty of all of this is that every single one of us has an opportunity to live a life without
resistance and to see precisely why we’re here. And to benefit from it. All you’ve got to do is honour
your strategy.
