Materials and tools:
Yarn: YarnArt Jeans (55% cotton/45% polyacrylic, 50 grams/160 meters)
1. No. 90 – red color (½ of a skein)
2. No. 35 - yellow color (a little bit)
3. No. 52 – green color (½ of a skein)
4. 1.5 mm crochet hook
5. Tapestry needle for assembly, scissors

The finished product using the materials stated in this pattern is ~3.5 inches / 9 cm
tall.

Work in continuous rounds without slip stitches.

Please, note that this pattern does not include the lessons of crocheting. You must
have previous knowledge of crochet techniques.

Abbreviations (US):
MR – magic ring
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one loop)
BLO – back loops only
Ch - chain
Sl st – slip stitch
HDC – half double crochet
DC – double crochet
(…) – the number in the brackets is the number of stitches in this row.
(…)*N – repeat instructions as directed

Small petals
Use yellow yarn.
Rnd 1 - 5 sc into MR (5) sl st
Rnd 2 – inc through BLO *5 (10) This is the base (pic. 1)
Crochet sl st in the next stitch, changing to red yarn (pic. 2-3).
Continue crocheting with red yarn.
Break yellow yarn and secure it.

Begin to crochet the petals.

Crochet the remaining petals.

Fasten off and break yarn. Leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly
Sew small petals to big petals using yarn tails. (pic. 42-43).
Sew the leaves to the petals. (pic. 44).
You can glue them if you do not want to sew them on.

Attach thread to the big petal and hang it on the Christmas tree. (pic. 45-47).
To make the ornament even and beautiful, you can iron it through the cotton
fabric. (pic. 48-49).
