ARCHITECT
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA:
1.FOR DIPLOMA COURSE:-
After clearing class 10 exams candidates can apply for
engineering diploma.
For other diploma courses 10+2 is the minimum requirement.
2.FOR B.ARCH
Candidates must have atleast 50% of marks in board exams and
must have completed class 12 with Mathematics and English as
compulsory subjects.candidates who have completed 3 years
diploma course after 10th are eligible for B.Arch course.
Most of the colleges also require candidates to clear entrance
architect exam such as JEE 2nd paper and NATA
3.FOR PG and Doctoral degrees->candidates must have
completed their B.Arch and are required to pass PG entrance
exams like GATE and CEED.

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), is conducted by National
Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA), which is a body
of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in
Architecture[1] is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate
courses in architecture. The test measures the aptitude of applicants for a
specific field of study in areas like drawing and observation skills, sense of
proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking, qualities that have been
acquired over a long period of time and that are related to architecture.
NATA or the JEE Mains Paper 2 exam are prescribed by the Council of
Architecture as a compulsory criterion for taking admission to any
Architectural College or course in India.
The exam measures the applicants drawing and observation skills,sense of
proportion and critical thinking skills that are related to architect.

Candidates who have passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as

Marks The minimum marks criteria for BArch admissions was earlier relaxed as announced by
Required Union Education Minister and also by CoA.
SALARY OF AN ARCHITECT
▪ The Salary of an Architect usually increases with your experience in this
field.One can expect a starting salary of Rs.4 lacs to 5 lacs per
annum/year.However if one has a work experience of about 5-6 years
his salary will increase to 8-10 lacs/year..

SECTOR.
