A. Assignment 1a (group submission)

Title: Comparative Research
Assessment: 10%
Assessment Criteria: This assignment will be assessed on the presentation report.
Due Date: At the end of the class on 07th May 2020

o These assignments are carried out in the groups (5 or 6 students in one group). Information and
data collected and documented from group assignments will be used as a reference for the
project task.
o Choose two types of local practices and make a comparison of this item and the advantages
and disadvantages.
• Background (location, date establishment, type of practice, associations, example
projects)
• Office Organization (chart, partners, architects, technical, administrative, site staff,
branch, qualification)
• Competitive Edges (how the office has managed to secure & manage it successfully)

o Tugasan ini dijalankan dalam kumpulan (5 atau 6 pelajar dalam satu kumpulan). Maklumat dan
data yang dikumpulkan dan didokumenkan dari tugasan kumpulan akan digunakan sebagai
rujukan untuk tugas projek.

Title: To be or not to be an Architect
Assessment: 5%
Due Date: At the end of the class on 07th May 2020
o To measures the exposure of the architecture practices and understanding with the profession,
you need to complete the following:
o Please describe the experience in architecture and built environment field.

of Architect (LAM) including type, name and logo of the architect firm and the
justification.

Lembaga Arkitek (LAM) termasuk jenis, nama dan logo firma arkitek dan justifikasinya.
