Many people think that a gap year can help a young person to gain some life and work

experience prior
to starting university, as well as develop as a person. For a young person, traveling provides an
opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn about different countries and cultures. Spending some
time in a country while working also makes for a less superficial encounter than only being there as a
tourist. Besides, travelers can gain work experience and potentially improve their foreign language skills.
This experience can be an important advantage in a more international oriented economy. Additionally,
a “gap year” can aid a person in becoming more independent and grown up, as it will require some
organization skills and the ability to manage their finances. It can also be argued that right after school
is a good time in life to see the world as most young people do not have any family and professional
obligations yet.

However, there are valid concerns whether the time and money for a gap year are well spent . Probably
the most serious problem about a gap year is its impact on future academic performance; young people
taking a gap year may fall behind their peers or lose the motivation to study altogether. Moreover, school
leavers are generally likely to end up with unskilled jobs abroad that barely cover their expenses,
especially if they do not have advanced knowledge of the foreign language used in a country. Therefore,
the work experience gained may not be very relevant to a person's career later and the work might not
offer a lot of opportunity to practice a foreign language. From a more practical point of view it is also
worth considering that not everyone feels comfortable living in a camper van, tent or hostel for months.

To begin with, the important causes of current globalwarming are, firstly, the industrial revolution in the modern
times has led to an increased release of gases into the atmosphere like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane, to
name a few, these gases are known to increase the temperature of the atmosphere by trapping ultraviolet rays into the
earth’s atmosphere. Moreoover, population explosion has resulted in excessive dependence on fossil fuels for cars,
public transport and railways, these machines emit a lot of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. In addition,
deforestation done by the humans for their habitat and agriculture has resulted in huge loss of trees who are the
cleaners of combustion gases from the atmosphere. Government needs to take to solve or to reduce the global
warming is the need of more research and development in order to create low carbon technologies to reduce carbon
dioxide, using renewable sources instead of fossil fuel. In conclusion,…

Global warming can be stopped when combined efforts are put in. For that, individuals and governments, both have
to take steps towards achieving it. We must begin with the reduction of greenhouse gas. Furthermore, they need to
monitor the consumption of gasoline. Switch to a hybrid car and reduce the release of carbon dioxide. Moreover,
citizens can choose public transport or carpool together. Subsequently, recycling must also be encouraged. On the
government’s part, they must regulate industrial waste and ban them from emitting harmful gases in the air.
Deforestation must be stopped immediately and planting of trees must be encouraged. In short, all of us must realize
the fact that our earth is not well. It needs to treatment and we can help it heal. The present generation must take up
the responsibility of stopping global warming in order to prevent the suffering of future generations. Therefore, every
little step, no matter how small carries a lot of weight and is quite significant in stopping global warming.
