Summary

Stepping into our centenary celebrations, immense pleasure was taken in announcing Intra
collegiate “Bill Analysis Competition 2022-2023” and was conducted in two rounds from 15th
December 2022 to 5th January 2023.

The Bill to be analysed is' MEDIATION BILL 2021'. The Bill Analysis Competition 2022-2023 aimed at
developing the analytical skills of law students pertaining to provisions of bill. The aim of organizing
competition was to hone the public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate
while expressing their thoughts and opinions. The session was the kaleidoscope of opinions,
thoughts and perspective that enhanced the knowledge and understanding about the mediation bill
2021 among students.

On January 5th , the ILS law college conducted the Final round of presentation for Bill Analysis
Competition. The competition was open to the public approximately 200 people were in attendance.

The program started with the welcoming and greeting of all attendees by Ms. Aarchi Vaishanava. She
warmly welcomed all the attendees and then hoped for patient hearing. The attendees were
Saurabh Ubale(Judge), Sanjana(Judge), Aditya Bendre(Judge), Divya Mittal(Assistant Professor),
Bhumika Rathore(Assistant Professor), and students.

This Bill analysis competition was conducted in 2 rounds. First round was online submission of
analysis of bill for which the judges were Sudhir Tarote and Anurag Mishra and second round was
presentation for which 5 teams qualified from II BALLB and II LLB .

Points presented were accepted by the spectators with cheers and claps. Some of the points even
made us think about the facts. There was so much talent in the room. Arguments were made and
roved. The competition was so interesting with the exchange of student’s perspective by equally
stating the merits and demerits of the mediation bill.

The event was a great success due to whole hearted contribution of Divya Mittal(Assistant
Professor), Bhumika Rathore(Assistant Professor), Vindhya Gupta(Assistant Professor), Akash
Sarvade(OC Member), Akanksha Thorat(OC Member) and ended with a vote of thanks by aarchi
Vaishnava.
