FUNDAMENTALS OF POLITICAL SCIENCE

I – COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is designed to acquaint the students with selected concepts, theories, and methods of
political science. It also deals with additional information to raise the students’ level of literacy in the
realm of political science.

II – STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES


At the end of the course, the students are expected to:

1. explain basic concepts, principles, and terms in political science;


2. identify the theories and methods of political science;
3. appreciate the basic concepts of political science;
4. learn to value the importance of political theories;
5. act as agent of change for the improvement of the Philippine political system;
6. participate in any political activity for the benefit of the Filipinos;
