There are many advantages and disadvantages of living in a city. Let’s talk about the advantage first.

Firstly, there are many public transportations such as buses, sky trains, subways,... Large cities boast
cutting-edge buses and high-end train systems. These ways of transportation run on a regular basis and
provide affordable rates. This makes traveling more cost-effective and comfortable.

Secondly, living in an urban area is more convenient than living in a country.

Cities are packed with green space, fashion shops, grocery shops, music venues, museums, theaters,
cultural attractions, and other forms of entertainment.

Moreover, children can have better educational institutions because there are many high-quality
schools in the city. For example, my brother is studying in Ngôi sao Hà Nội – one of the 4 best schools in
the city. This school has many good teachers and modern facilities.

Fourthly, We will be able to use good medical services while living in the city.

In cities, low quality facilities are not a problem. Hospitals are equipped with the latest technology, a
team of world class doctors, or excellent services. The only downside is that the bills are super
expensive. But there are many types of medical insurance you should take advantage of in order to/ to
cope with costly medical care expenses.

However, there are also many disadvantages when you live in a suburb.

Firstly, Large cities often have very high levels of pollution. Unlike rural lifestyle, urban centers have a
shortage in clean air, leading to serious diseases.

Secondly, you can be stressed in traffic, especially during rush hour. It can be difficult to move from one
place to another, as cities are characterized by high amounts of traffic. In addition to the time lost in a
traffic jam, the physical wear is noted by the noise and emissions of the cars.

In addition, the price of daily items or food in the city is also more expensive than in the countryside
because of the large population.

In summary, besides the disadvantages, I think living in the city is better than living in the countryside for
many reasons I have mentioned above
